Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well I went to Old Navy yesterday and got 2 t-shirts and a sweater for $28. Then I went to Target and picked up a few things. I went to Macy's and found a really cute sweater...in the WRONG size!!! I couldn't find it in my size.
Today, again I have a few errands to run, some cleaning to do and my workout. Got to get this fat off my booty!!!
Next weekend is my party. I'm nervous now because my friends are hatching a plan to lure hot guy over and fix us up!!! If you can't tell by our Facebook conversations...it's kind of out of my hands. They are going to do this no matter what I say. I don't think it will work. I honestly think that if he was interested he would have done something by now. He's not interested. I mean why wouldn't a guy say something to you if he was??? Anyway, as the day approaches I am sure I will get more and more stressed by this.
Dawn- I hope Liv is relaxing and feeling good this morning.
Sharon- I was thinking about when I first was losing weight and I was wearing my clothes till they were falling off me. I laugh because at one point I had pants I would wear at work and use binder clips to keep them from falling off!!! What a dork am I. Now I don't do that. Like I said I buy ahead to the next size. I have several pairs of size 12 and 10 jeans just waiting to be worn!!! Not to mention it's great inspiration to try them on every once in awhile to see how much closer you are to fitting into them!!!
I am going to eat breakfast now and watch....Law & Order (yep I still watch that every Saturday).
Have a wonderful Saturday...see ya later...bye

Crystal - guys are just as nervous about "making" moves to speak to a girl also. I think that you are over analyzing the situation.

Sorry for being MIA but I am doing everything possible to keep busy and away from food. Silly me though I keep being drawn to Triple D on the food network and other shows on that other cable food station that FN owns - Cook Channel or something like that. I have been successful so far to stay on the straight and narrow and no cheating. I see so many posts on the main forum where pre ops give in to temptation due to hunger. I should qualify this by saying that the pre ops that I am talking about have not had WLS and I feel for them with not being able to not give into their hunger. It is tough. They still have a full size stomach. I know where they are coming from but in a smaller way. My hunger pre op was overwhelming at times.
I have a hair appt. here shortly, then I need to take some books over to a local Eagle Scout's house to donate to a cause that he is involved in and then home to do a few things around the house before we head off to Willow to serve food to the stage team. Afterwards we are going out with friends for a bite to eat. I will nibble off of Dave's plate and have some sort of soup that can fit into my plan.
Thank you all for thinking of me and mentioning me in other day posts. I am hoping that Liv is not in too much discomfort and that she got some rest overnight. Safe travels for Connie and Kay, everyone else hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

Good Morning,
We had a great day yesterday, helping Annette and Rick get ready to move back into thier Townhouse. They should be in by Sunday. We did get 40 boxes done.
Today, is errands and cleaning. Then this evening, we are attending Hubert's uncles 88th birthday bash.
Other then that, nothing is new.
Hugs,
LISA
Good Morning!
No plans for this day except sticking close to home.
We went out with friends for dinner last night for our usual Friday nite get together. I really enjoy the informal celebration every Friday to welcome in the weekend. We stayed out later than usual, 10 pm, LOL.I recall the days when I did not leave the house until 10. As I get older, we go out earlier and earlier.
We get an extra hour this weekend. Don't forget to put your clocks back an hour tonite.
Crystal, I heard something interesting about men this week on Good Morning America. It seems men do not ask women out anymore like they did in the old days. The trend is to text a woman for a date or face-book them. It seems men are not interested in the face-to-face let down of being turned down. I also heard that is the mode for breaking up with someone. Times have sure changed. They said the art of courtship and being asked out is a thing of the past. Perhaps the neighbor-dude is interested but isn't ready for a relationship. The reason I mention this is because, if he likes you but isn't ready to settle down , the last thing he is going to do is date someone in his building. Too close to home so to speak.
Blessings my friends,
Sharon
Sharon- Men always think women want a relationship. After 14 years of being single the last thing I want to do is rush into something. Not to mention I don't even know if I'm a relationship person anymore. I have to test the waters, so to speak. Like I said this is the first time since Amanda's father that a man has caught my attention like this. Iwant slow and easy...s-l-o-w...anything fast and serious scares the crap out of me. I should be a man's dream woman. I hate chick flicks, I love dirty jokes, I don't care if they hang out with their friends and watch football and I'm not looking to hook them into marriage!!!
