Thursday Roll Call

Hello everyone

You know it dawned on me yesterday I forgot to post last week that I'm no longer obese!!!  Such a big milestone and  forgot!!!  Yep I had to reach 197 and I finally hit that mark last week.  So yeah I'm overweight now!!! So now when they are talking about the obesity epidemic on TV...they are no longer talking about me!!!  WEIRD!!!  I don't think that will ever sink in.  I think I will always consider myself a "fat" person.  Case in point- a couple of weeks ago some guy was being overly friendly helping me pick out a webcam.  He didn't even work there.  I kept thinking to myself "would you even care about my webcam if I weighed 360 lbs!!!" But my annoyance towards men's attention is misplaced.  I mean isn't this what I wanted??? 

So the weekend can't some fast enough.  I do have a few things to do.  I have to keep myself busy.  I don't know I have to come up with something to do with my weekends.  Like volunteer or something like that.  I get bored and I don't have the money to just run around and have fun all weekend.  Sitting around here all weekend by myself is very boring.  Maybe I will look into that Habitat For Humanity thing...do they do thing when the weather is cold??  But then again I hate doing things by myself.  You go to places like that and people are usually there with friends.

I hope everyone had fun with there Halloween plans.  Any plans for today??  No special plans for me.

Today starts Hell week at work. Other then it will last for a month. Oh well, that is why I make them big bucks. NOT!

I am hoping today will go smooth. I have a poster made to tell people that they must make an appointment for Thursdays, lets see if it works.

Lisa-  don't spend all those big bucks in one place.  Have fun with Hell week.  I have my own version of Hell week...it's called "year end closing week"...but that's a while off.

Good Morning Everyone!

It was COLD last night for the trick or treaters.  I was letting them help themselves to the candy as I did not really care how long it lasted.  Most of them took a couple of pieces.  I had over 250 pieces and I ran out after 1 hour of trick or treating -- OOPS!  I even went through the candy I had at work so no leftovers!   Smoke was VERY interested in those kids that kept coming to the door.  We had a hard time keeping him inside. 

Today I am just glad we are near Friday.  I am ready for it.  My blood count is at the anemia stage and I am getting tired easily.  Oh well.  That is what naps are for.

Crystal, congratulations on no longer being obese!  Wow!      You did it!     That is fantastic!  Did you ever dream that you could accomplish this?  Now, enjoy being hit on. 

Lisa, I pray your hell week goes fast.  I do not envy you.  Just remember that these are the idiots that can not control their finances etc.  YOU did not put them in this situation nor are you PERSONALLY responsible for bailing them out. Dawn,

Dawn, my thoughts and prayers are with Liv and your family for Liv's surgery.  I am sure it will be a LONG 3 hours but she is in great hands.  Just remember that you are taking care of this problem for a permanent solution.  It will be great to have it finally done.

Nancy-  I find attention from men unsettling...I think even if my hot neighbor gave me the attention I am so dying for....I think I would faint.

CONGRATULATIONS Crystal!!!!  That is AWESOME!!!!!  I am SO HAPPY for you!  Don't forget to do laundry on Sunday!

I am working and getting the loose ends wrapped up.  I will get a call some time after 3 to tell me what time surgery will be.  Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and support.  I know that she is in good hands.  I will try to get to a computer to post her progress, but I don't know if I will have access.  I WILL be able to text so maybe I can contact someone that way.  I think I still have Nancy's number.

Man, I hope this day goes fast.......

Been watching the bird feeders this morning. We have cardinals, juncos, goldfinches, nuthatches, robins, woodpeckers, chickadees, fall warblers and more. Luckily they are all outside the window by my computer.

I think we are going to vote this morning. Then tomorrow we go to Carbondale and St. Louis so I won't be able to post from my iPad.

Yeah, I know there is access all over the hospital, but I am technologically challanged......my phone does not have data capabilities.  But HERS does.........mmmmm?  There's a thought!

Dawn, my prayers are with you both.

suggestion - take her electric charger with because sometimes you get into different areas of a hospital that cannot receive a signal and when it is searching for service it eats up the battery. And when you are using the data side of the phone it eats up the battery also.
