Saturday Road Call
Hello My Dear Ones,
I'm up too early today, but I just could not sleep. I think it's because my hubby is traveling to IA this am to help a family member in distress and I needed to get up and make sure he had his breakfast and some coffee. Love my Keurig.
I am going to the Joliet Vineyard Church today to do a day long seminar on "Learning to Hear God's Voice" I know it will be amazing. The pastor there, died of a heart attack and went to heaven and was brought back. His stories are amazing. I cannot wait.
What's on your agenda?
Blessings,
Sharon
Good Morning,
I to am up early. The only reason I can think of, it is Saturday, and Icould of stayed in bed.
Sharon, your day sounds like you will have a great time.
My plans for this last Saturday of October, I will be cleaning house, doing a few errands, and going to a fish fry this afternoon at the Streator Boat Club.I am sure there will be a kink in my day somewhere.
Here is to a great day for everyone,
Huggers,

Hello everyone
I have been up for awhile too. I went Walmart last night after my night out with my friend and picked up a few things. It wasn't till this morning that I realized that there were some things missing. So I got dressed really quick and ran back to Walmart with my receipt. I told them I missed picking up a bag and there are three things I didn't get. They looked on a log and my items weren't on there. I thought..great now I have no proof that I left them here. But she called some guy and he disappeared with my receipt for about 15 minutes. Then came back and said that I actually missed 4 items. Anyways, I asked the lady how did he know that...she said he went back and watched the video....ohhhh. Wow...who would thought!!! So I got my stuff.
I also did some cleaning around here and dyed my hair. I have some small projects around here to do today and some errands to run.
I had a great time with my friend yesterday. Oh we just sat and talked and talked. She makes me laugh...she has this really dry sense of humor that I love. She's a lot older than me but our kids are about the same age and we are both single mothers that had to struggle with dead beat dads. And we come from really poor families. So we have a lot in common.
Nancy- I am sorry about Beemer sometimes you wish you can reason with animals. Amanda and Charles really lucked out on the location. Anywhere they live for the rest of their lives will pale in comparison.
Sharon- Al's Steakhouse is pretty close to where I live and work. I pass by there every day to go to work. Is that place any good...I always wonder.
Randy- All your computer lingo kind goes right over my head. Most of the time I have no idea what your talking about...I just know your taking classes about computer stuff...hahaha!!! I do know when you talk about Python...I think Monty Python...don't know why...
Well back to enjoying my Saturday...ahhhh...have a good day all...bye
HI Crystal,
Al's has very good food. It's an old fashioned steak house that has a decent salad bar and on Fridays a seafood bar that my husband always enjoys. We usually sit at the bar and eat there with friends. If you like garlic, the shrimp scampi and dejong is delish. The calamari is also very good. I've never had the prime rib, but I've been told it is very good. I had the petite filet last night and I could barely fini**** I say give it a try sometime. Sharon
