Hello everyone

One more day of nice weather...soak it up.  I really enjoyed what I could yesterday.  I ate lunch outside...I was thinking Nancy did too.

Today I am running some errands after work and that's about it for me.  no excitement.

I was upset to find out that my old iphone really is useless.  Yes I can use it as an ipod but I can't add new music to it.  So to me it's usless.  I mean if you can't add to it...I will get get bored with the same music.  I found out when I tried to sync my old phone on my computer and it wasn't being recognized.  So I was complaing to Monica about how I will have to buy a new ipod because my ipod dock isn't compatible with my new iphone...and she pulled out her old ipod and said...I never use it, you can have it!!!  OMG....how nice is she.  And on top of that she had some good music too!!!  Yeah!!!

So what are you guys going to do with your day...don't forget this might be the last day we see in the 70's in a long time!!!!

Have a wonderful sunny day!!!!  Bye

Good Morning,

I have an mp3 player that I listen to when I am on the gazell.

Today, starts a new thing for work. I am doing appointments only on Thursdays. I think this will work today, but the real test will be next week, when we open for everyone to do thier winter LiHeap. Normally, we would have upwards of 75 people trying to get in the first day, and they don't like to be told that we can't do that many applications on one day.

Last night was great. We always love to attend anything that Morgan is in. We did go to Menards again last night. Hubert asked me to get him a miter saw for Xmas. Of course, he had to have it last night. I told him n.p. but that was it. Of course he doesn't know about the Jeff Dunham tickets I already got.

I do have to call the Dr. office today, my leg is still not going down. She wanted me to call her in 1 week if there was no differance.

Have a great day,
Hugs,
LISA

Good Morning Everyone!

It is almost Friday!  I cant wait.  The last couple days of work have been long days.  Customers have taken forever to really get to the point of what they want or they call totally unprepared and take forever.  We have to keep calls under 4 minutes which is not happening with these callers.  Yikes!

Beemer is being a royal pain.  He is hiding again this morning.  I am not sure he is going to be with us much longer.  He cannot go without his medicine and if he persists on making this a game of catch me if you can it can not go on.  This is the second day in a row he has missed his vets appointment.  We dont even have him at a level dose yet.  Sigh.

Today it is work and then to the dentist.  My partial came back not fitting properly so I have to get it adjusted toaday.  My hair appointment got postponed until Saturday.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I am so ready for Friday.  I saw the Thursday post and almost started a Friday thread.

I must be a glutton for punishment.  I finished my Python ecercises yesterday thinking there would be a programming assignment to do the rest of yesterday and today but it turns out that will not show up until next weeks exercises are finished.

So I signed up for an interactive Python course out of Rice which may turn out to swamp me also but I should have fun with it for a while.  I was excepted to Rice out of High School and at that time books and tuition were paid for.  I would have had to live at home though and I was ready to get a little seperation.  Makes me homesick though watching the videos and seeing a picture of Rice's admin building.

Good morning friends,

Going to do a little shopping today at Bergners and will probably hit Barnes and Noble. I generally avoid Cherryvale at all costs but Bergners has my favorite watch on sale and I need a new ne. I know the young folks use their phones but can't quite get in the habit of that.

We ordered iPhones last Saturday. Looking forward to getting those. I have a Samsung droid which will not stay charged longer than 4-5 hours so it is essentially useless.

Had walleye at Social last night. It's wonderful to find fish cooked perfectly and not fried!

Have a last warm day!

Connie

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am home getting ready for a trip to Madison.  I have a surgical consult with a colo-rectal surgeon recommended by Dr. Garren.  The surgery I had 3 years ago did a LOT of work and 5 of the 6 things work properly.  The 6th failed and since my co-insurance is paid for the year, I am considering having it repaired.  I do not look forward to another surgery, but if it will help, now will be the time to do it.

Besides that, I am having fun with Liv's new egg-baby for school.  She has to never let it out of her sight....OR....she can have an egg-sitter.  She has the egg for 2 weeks and can only have 8 hours of free egg-sitting.  After that, she must pay 25 cents an hour.  She will wind up paying so that she can work.  The teacher explained that most parents can not take their children to work.  Oh MY how she complained!  Both the teacher and I told her to "buck up"  that is how it IS in the real world.  After the egg, she will get a robot-baby and that will be even MORE fun!  Gotta LOVE those real-world lessons!

I had my physical/drug test yesterday and it was more thourough than I had imagined.  They even took x-rays of my Frankenankle to have a base-line in case I were to say I hurt it while there.

Off to the shower!

Everyone get out and enjoy this las warm day!

The robotic babies are a real kick.  They ae so realistic they are spooky depending on how recent the model is.  I used to teach classes to 8th-12th graders using them.  It was a riot!  I loved it.  The kids were so funny and I always got a kick out of them.  Live will enjoy it.  They are a great educational tool.  Make sure you charge her and make it as realistic as possible.  It makes a great birth control.  If my kids brought a baby back pleading to keep it longer, I would oblige and then set it on the crankiest setting possible.  The teacher as the option to let the computer select a baby mode or you can hand select a mode and they range from an angel of  a baby to an extremely colicly baby.

The heel pain is from a spur that I have had for years. I remember when I walked across the threshold for the bath to the hall in my slippers and stepped on it with my arch but not full weight This happened about 2 weeks ago. So, that aggravated it. It needs to be watched to make sure that it does not grow and he might have to modify my orthotics a little with a gel cushion in addition to the hard portion of them.

Been to our friend's realty office open house, Target, GNC, Osco, Target (had to wait for the liquid pain med to be dispensed) and then home.

Interesting thing about Obama Care - at one point the docs could "computer in" the script for the narcotic pain meds - now they cannot it has to be signed by a doc. I guess that they found out that there was some narcotic fraud. So much for being paperless.

That is a painful sucker to deal with.  I finally had my heel spur removed because it got so large.  Best thing that I did.  Good luck!

Had a friend that went that direction and was sorry that she did. Do not know if it was the doc or her foot that caused the prob.  He said it is there but just needs to be watched. Plus I aggravated it. Good base line for me today.

Love my foot doc. He calls me Mrs. B  . . .  He is the same age as me but that is just his bedside manner, very personal but proper.
