November 7 - upcoming surgery

Your surgery day will be here before you know it. It sounds like you have had lots of tests and pre op procedures done and I think that helps us get mentally prepared. It is nice to have a planned surgery IF you have to have surgery at all. I know it will be painful and involve healing time which can be long and uncomfortable. My wish is for an uncomplicated surgery and an easy recovery. It sounds like you have a great doctor so no concern there! my thoughts and prayers are with you during these next few weeks.
Just wish I could get through the liquid diet portion real fast but I know that might be a challenge for me. Yeah, I have a road ahead of me that will involve pain. I am happy that my doc office has everything planned out already from me having the cleansing cloths for the day before, a PCA to all of my prescriptions already submitted for me. I have all of them but one in house and sitting on a small table in the dining room. You never have to scramble to get scripts filled from him PO and when you are on the way home. Yes, he is a great doc and his feelings are that he wants his patients to be educated as to all aspects of a surgery. He has any and all info on his website for us to go in and read, print out and full access to the staff when need be.
