Hello everyone

I am going to enjoy the warm weather the next couple of days even if it going to rain...because I don't know the next time we are going to see the 70's again.  Maybe April??  Tomorrow and Thursday looks to be very nice.  I'm excited and plan to wear capris and flip flops.

I have work and working out...and normal errands to run.  But I have nothing really going on this whole week...of course that could change at any time.  I like when that happens...of course I like when its good things...not bad.

I will have to get into my closet and go through my clothes and figure out what fits and what doesn't from last Winter.  That seems to be a seasonal traditional.  I have to go through and see what I have left to wear and what I have to go buy.  I guess I could do that this weekend....hmmm.

Well I have to finish getting ready and eat breakfast...I hope everyone has a good day...see ya later...bye.

Yesterday was nice.  I took a trip over to Wright College, Utopia Cigars and Jay's Italian Beef dodging the raindrops.  I really do not completely get the draw for Italian beef but this was very nice as were their peppers and meatballs.  No bread of course for me except possibly in the meatballs.

I listened to the lectures and began the exercise yesterday.  Will finish exercises and begin the programming assignment today.  I really hope I can get through this entire course doing as well as I have been in it and then move on to the web based side of it.  It is really great to be writing code again and seeing it run.

I reposted the URL for Sandy on yesterdays post but here it is again.

Looking forward to hearing from the rest of Illinois.

 Good Morning,

Another wet,  dank,  morning. I will be happy when the time changes for one reason. It will be lighter in the morning. The exception being it will be darker in the late afternoon.

No plans other then work today. Tomorrow will be heading to Bloomington after work. It is Morgans first high school choral concert.

I will catch you all later,

Hugs,
LISA

Good Tuesday Morning!

We had some really hard rain yesterday.  Dont know if we will have a repeat today or not.  Somehow I managed to dodge the rain when I was outside.  So that was nice.  Smokey has a respiratory infection which can hit kittens harder than older cats so he is now on eye medicine and antibiotics.  So now we have two cats to give medicine to.  Such fun!

No special plans for today other than a trip to the dentist to have him look at my tooth after work.  It appears to be a quiet week.  We shall see.  I dont need anymore surprises because mine have not been good.  Oh well, that is life.

Sandy, good to "see" you again.  Carla, are you parked until Thanksgiving?  We have such mobile members.  They flit all over the place.

I hope everyone has an awesome day!

 Good Morning Illinoisians,

I am revving up for my busy Tuesday. I have a break between 11a and 3p and hope to tackle some housekeeping. It's all I can do to keep up with the daily grind. I have to get my house in order because our son is coming in for Thanksgiving from college in NYC. We are pretty excited because he normally bypasses us and goes to California to his other moms. We are a "modern family". Michael (our 20 year old son) has 3 moms and 1 dad. It works for us.

It sounds like everyone is pretty busy.

That pic was gorgeous. Wow.

Enjoy our Indian Summer days (more like Indian Spring)

Blessings,

Sharon

I have "modern" family situations all over the place...Growing up my grandmother was actually my mother's ex-stepmother....and my grandfather was her new husband.  My "real" grandparents never really gave a damn about me (I saw them 3 times my whole life).  So thank God for these people because I would have never had grandparents if it weren't for them.

And then of course there was the fact that there were 3 kids on my family.  Me and I was my mom's kid, my brother and he was my dad's kid, and my sister and she was their kid....so I actually have a half sister and step brother and step father...but I don't use those lables.

And of course now my family is not the family I was born with.  My family is actually my ex-in-laws.  They are the most wonderful people....I really don't know how that man I married came from them...haaha.  But anyway...if it weren't for them I would have no one to spend my holidays with.  Even with Amanda gone...they made sure that I knew I was MUST show up for the holidays or they were going to darg me there.

So unconventional family situations have been the back bone of my life...thank God!!!

Now explain how your son has 3 moms...hahaha!!!

I too can not wait for the time change. I will not be doing too much today, I am going to read and just kick back. I then have to drive the bus at 3 then when we got off the bus get my granddaughter dressed and have her at dance by 5:50. SO tomorrow is drag my butt day.

I have a few things to finish up to start my day of nothing!

Have a safe Day!

Karen

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am back at work after leaving at lunch yesterday ill.  I have been fighting a cold and then I was nauseous so it was just not worth it.  I will also be off on Thursday for a trip to Madison.

I have been accepted at the airport for the VOLUNTEER position.  I just hope that maybe by being a volunteer, it will put me closer to the "action" when a paid position comes up.  I DO know someone who works out there so maybe.......just maybe, it will be a way out of my current job.

We will have Riley over the weekend and she lost her first tooth list night!  I can't wait to see her because that is just too cute!

Not too much else happening here.

Everyone have a wonderful day and enjoy the temperature!

Tell someone that you love them!

Dawn-  Good luck on making that a Full time position.  You know Amanda's first job in her field she got because she first started as a volunteer and then the next position that opened up they offered her the postion.  So you just prove yourself a good worker and I have no doubt that they will want you.
