Sunday Roll Call
Hi Steven, Good Morning All,
What a beautiful morning.
After church I am going to watch football and hang with my hubby.
Last night I discovered the chicken greek pita at the Patio. OMG, I must have been starved because I never ate anything so good in my life. It was grilled chicken with a mini greek salad on a pita. I left the pita, but the rest was divine.
Sorry I missed everybody yesterday. Where did the day go?
Dawn, good luck on your new job. I t sounds like a "fun" job. I hope it leads to something permanent for you.
Nancy, Smokie is a superstar! You derserve it after poor Beemer. How is that sweet boy?

Crystal, I dont know who you got that I-Phone so fast, but AWESOME.
I got to spend time with my grand-babies yesterday. It was a 2 hour love-fest. God is good!
My daughter misses me and I guess we are in that temporary phase again where I am the best mom in the world....it wont last but I'll take it for now.

No plans for today except laundry and working on the bedroom mess again. If I would stick with it, I am sure it wouldn't take more then an hour to finish. Maybe I will surprize myself and do it today.

A long week ahead. 4 work days, then an all day meeting in Rock Falls on Friday.

Hello everyone
I don't have much on my agenda today. I have some cleaning today and laundry. That's about it.
Yesterday I had my big project of getting behind my book shelves to plug in my extention cord into the only freaking electric socket on the immediate area. I was so annoyed with myself, because when I was putting up the shelves I had the fleeting thought I should put an extention cord in there just in case I ever want to use that...and then I didn't!!! Oh well...it was a good way to burn some calories. Then I had to drill a one inch hole in the shelves to put the cord through. It took me about two hours to do. In the end I was happy with the results.
I did get my new iphone...my old iphone is now my being used as my ipod and is sitting on my book shelf on it's ipod dock. My iphone5 is pretty and wonderful and beautiful and I love it!!! I don't know why but I love new phones...hahaha!!!
Sharon- You can go on apple.com and when ordering the new iphone5 there is an option to pick up the phone in store. BUT if you do that you have to wait till 10pm to order because that's when they renew the stock. At 10pm you have to be ready to hit the button ASAP. So I waited till 10pm two days in a row and I scored the second night. I had to go to Oakbrook. Which is better than my friend Monica she had to drive all the way to Northbrook. Belive me I was a mass of nerves leading up to 10pm both nights...all for this phone!!!! I know that this sounds insane...Hahahaha!!!

I am just going to be lazy today. I made taco meat up yesterday to have for taco salads this week and then made a pot of chili meat up. Decided not to add beans at this time so if I want to use it for other things I can. I love a small chili mac with Whole Wheat pasta. Can't eat much but I still love it. I am starting back to a small exercise group we have here in our town in which I helped start 3 years ago, I just got lazy and stopped going. I have been not feeling my best and I believe it's a lack of exercise. I am tired all the time. I could sleep around the clock if it did not hurt so bad to lay down. Oh well enough complaining.

Hello Everyone!
This day has flown by. It is a gorgeous day outside! We went and got groceries as usual. It was so crowded at Walmart! UGH I HATE crowded Walmarts. I got some presents for our neighbors new puppy Jo Jo and took them over and met him. He is adorable! A golden brown ****apoo.
On the homefront, Beemer is not quite there on his insulin. He is doing much better and is now accepting the shots. I think we just need one more adjustment and we will be done. He is peeing less outside the litter box. He also is not wolfing down food so that is a positive sign. Smokie on the other hand is going to the doctor's tomorrow. He has had a cold and just cant shake it. His eyes are all matted now so he needs a doctor visit.
Steven, I am sorry you have to work today but the overtime money will be good for Chritmas.
Sharon, that greek chicken pita sounds heavenly! I love that type of food. I am so happy to hear you got to see your grandbabies. I pray it lasts for awhile.
Randy, your day sounds like fun. A disorganized chille cookoff souns like more fun than an organized one!
Lisa, I am sorry you have to work on Friday. So much for a 4 day workweek. I hope you take some time to enjoy this day today.
