 Good Morning Steven.

I do laundry on Sunday too. Most of the time anyway.

I am planning on cooking and bakeing today too.  Hubby wants Jello for dinner tonight. Meatloaf, mashed potatos and a veggie and pumpkin muffins will round out the meal,Homemade soup for lunch.

I may get some more stuff putaway in our back beroom/craft room.

Sharon, I ♥ my Ipad. It is with me almost all the time.

Another rain soaked day is upon us. We gotta love spring and fall.

Have a great day,

Hugs,
LISA

 Good Morning!

Happy Sunday.

I am just finishing my coffee and will start cleaning up a bit.

Steven, I love Whole Foods. One is about to open in Orland. It is almost completed and I cannot wait. I bid farewell to Jewel awhile back and do all my shopping at Trader Joes and Aldi and Costco.

Lisa, I haven't had meatloaf in so long. My mom made the best meatloaf. Sounds soooo good.

I'm making a pot of chili today and another pot of veggie soup. It was wonderful eating soup all week when I got home late all last week. I bought kale yesterday. it is my new fave veggie for soups. I watched a Dr. Oz this week with Dr. Weil and he says kale is an anti-inflamatory veggie.

We are going to a play this evening. It's called "Father of Lights" at Christian Hills Church in Orland Park. I cannot wait to hear the worship. It is going to be so good.

Everyone have a beautiful day!

Sharon

 Good Morning Everyone!

It looks like more rain today.  Today is my day to do grocery shopping.  What fun.  Smokey and Gizmo have been holy terrors this morning.  Very active!  Now they are pooped out.

Lisa, dinner sounds yummy!  What time should I be there?

Sharon, I love my IPad.  It kept boredom at bay in the hospital!

Steven, dont work too hard today.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Gonna try and stay close to home.

No bears.  If you cook neckbones please tell me what you do on the other thread.  Made neck bone and deli meat ends soup yesterday and put it in the freezer.

Did not sleep good last night. I do not know if I was too warm in the room or what.

We just got home from the Lion's dinner. Enjoyed meeting other people from town and people that know people that we know and neighbors. That is the wonderful thing about a smaller town.

I made the first recipe that I posted the other day for stuffed peppers. The filling was really good. I only had 3 really large peppers to fill. I cut them vertically instead of filling them from the top. They looked and smelled fantastic when I brought them out the oven. 1/2 of one of the 1/2s will be more than enough for me for lunch or dinner. When we came back in from the dinner the house smelled wonderful! I love homey foods.

Ho hum not sure what else I am going to do for the day. Probably surf the 'net about going green and hanging laundry outside . . . Love my tri-pod lines ( now have two of them) for laundry. I read that it will take me a year before I will get a return for my $$ from not using the gas dryer. They each cost about $35 and you have to calculate what your therms are that you pay for NI gas . . . X how many loads you do in a year.

Growing up the only guy in our neighborhood with a dryer in their house worked for the gas company.  On days like we just had we would load wet clothes in the car and take them to a laundramat.

I have memories of laundry hanging in the basement on rainy days. We did not get a dryer until I was in 2nd or 3rd grade and only had a wringer washer up until then. Cannot remember when we got an automatic washer but until then we were not allowed anywhere near it when the clothing was being wrung out.
