Friday Roll Call
It's Friday!!! Yeah!!!
My eyes are back to normal. It's amazing. I have to admit I was very skeptical. I even questioned the doctor...are you sure I asked him...I don't have to worry about spreading this to anyone?? I don't have to wash my pillow cases in ho****er this weekend...he said no...I thought OK but we will see. I guess he was right...hahaha!!!
I talked to Amanda last night. It was nice to hear her voice again. She was telling me about her training. The only part that is stressing her out is the Spanish. Otherwise she is really enjoying the training. She received my card on her birthday and thought it was funny. She said the kids in her host family were playing with it. Her host family threw her a birthday party. She has developed a cough. It's very dusty there and I can hear her coughing a lot. I wonder if I can send her something for that???
After work I am going to run some errands and try to find some jeans that fit me. Sometime this weekend I also need to run over to the library and sign up for a library card.
What are you guys up to today???
I ahve to get going and get ready for work...have a great day...bye
I am so glad it is almost the weekend. I can really use it. I am feeling pretty stressed out. Beemer is still urinating everywhere but the litter box. I am trying to be patient but my patience is running out. It is hard to believe that this will stop when his blood sugar gets under control. I am not sure if I can wait that long. It is a huge stress issue and I never dreamed it would effect me so. I dont want to put him down but this cannot go on indefinetly.
This morning started out wonderfully --- NOT I was fixing breakfast and had the ice cube holder out and managed to knock it off the counter and had ice cubes everywhere. Now my back is killing me from bending over and picking up ice cubes. UGH! I cant win.
I just want to go off into a corner and hide someplace.
Crystal, I am so happy you got to talk to Amanda. It sounds like she is doing great. I am not sure what your could send her for her cough that would be allowed through the mail.
Randy, you have a full day planned. Enjoy it!
I hope everyone has a great day!
Cat Lady
Good morning!
Well, the steroids are helping the itching but my body is still bright red. Hope the CAT scan gives a solution so I never have to have another! Will find out Monday. It's kind of fun to go to Madison so often and hit the shops.
Couple of errands planned today, Office Depot and Jo-Ann Fabrics. I really dislike those tiny run in errands. They seems t take up so much time for a little return, but they need to be done. Next week I'll get a flu shot. This is something I always do and it seems to work.
The tree outside my computer window is gold with slight pink cast on the leaves--beautiful! and my windows sparkle. The house seems more open with the windows clean--worth every penny!
Have a good day!

Crystal---when I get a chance, I can check what is and is not allowed to be sent to Peru. I DO know that their customs is very, very picky, but gifts may be different.
I have to be real quick but wanted to stop by and say hi! Monday will be my 20th wedding anniversay and Todd and I are going to Milwaukee tomorrow night and Sunday noght and coming home some time Monday. It will be nice to get away alone, together.
Connie---send me that email if you get a chance, please.
Gotta go! Everyone have a wonderful evening and weekend!
Was out the door early taking my girlfriend to get a cortisone shot in her back....eeek. It was on the north side of Chi-town and it took a big part of the day. Tonight I am sipping tea trying to warm up. brrrr.
Crystal, congrats on finally connecting with your baby.
Randy, you are amazing. Your brain must fire good. Mine? Not so much....

Connie, I hope you lose the redness soon. Enjoy the sunshine coming in thru those windows.
