Thursday Roll Call

 Finished week 3 of U of T and am on to week 2 of MIT.  Then tonight there is a ChiPy meeting just north of the river on Clark.

What is the rest of Illinois up to?

   good Morning,

One load of wash done and one load of dishes doon too. Bed made, and meds taken. How it is time to get ready for work.

For some reason, we get busy right before noon. Do they think that everyone sleeps until 10 or later, and noone wants to take a lunch break?

We are going to the last play of the season tonight. I miss it during the winter..

Hello everyone

What a difference 24 hours makes!!!  My eyes are looking so much better.  After discontinuing the antibiotics that I am allergic to and using the steroids.  My eyes are getting better.

I was so excited yesterday because I finally figured out the webcam thing and was able to make phone calls.  I tested it out by calling my friend and all went well.  So I just had to wait till after 6pm (that's when she is free).  Then I called...and it just rang...she never picked up!!!  I called all night long!!!  I don't know maybe I was dialing the number wrong.  I never called an international number before.  It was so frustrating!!!  So I never got to talk to Amanda.  But at least I have everything ready so I can talk to her one day...

I need to get smaller jeans.  I know this a good thing but it is also a stress because I only have two pairs of jeans now that fit me well.  everything else is big and it costs to buy more.  I am going to try Goodwill again this weekend., they are always getting new stuff.  I am now a 14...I was a 30 3 1/2 years ago...

 Hello Illinois!

I am getting ready for a full day as well. Windchill is in the 20's here! Burrrrrr

I am looking forward to the weekend there is a 2 day free pass to over 150 buildings in Chicago that are rarely opened to view. I plan to look at synagogues that have been converted to churches. They are opening up areas of the buildings where people are normally not allowed. Here is the link:

This event was mentioned on the news here in the Chi-town area last night. It does sound like a neat thing to do especially since there is rain for Saturday.

 That would so neet to see the old Synagauges and buildings. I am jewish so that would  be right up my alley. I am planning a trip to Chicago again in December for my birthday. I am flying up on the 18th for about 5 days to see my kidlet.  We will celebrate our birthdays together. I am hoping to buy her some much needed clothes. She has lost around 20 pounds. She is really trying. 
I am feeling much better now that my cortisol levels have leveled out. I am on a much better dose of prednisone. I dont feel loopy anymore. 
I think my blood pressure has stabelized and I might be able to fly. My friend in colorado is still hanging on in hospice and it could still be anyday. Im still waiting.
