Thinking that other Sunday Roll Call is for today.

Gotta jet to the food pantry and the loop to get voter registration address changed.  Tried it by mail and they messed it up.

 Hi Randy, Hi All,

Randy, Good for you for trying so hard to get registered.

Connie, I dont know which is more gorgeous, your knitting or your gardens......just friended you on FB.

Just picking up the mess my Lab made last night. I made the mistake of leaving the halloween candy (almond joys)  in a convenient place and she ate it all. I know chocolate is poisonous for some dogs, but she seems to be fine, her tail is wagging, she has a big smile on her face and she is in good spirits. No wonder i had to get up twice last night to let her out. That hasnt happenend since she was a puppy, 11 years ago. My fault. I guess even old ladies like her love their junk food. She is 12.

I am about to leave to do my morning swim.

It's a semi-busy day today.

Everyone that is off enjoy the day.

Blessings,

Sharon

Good morning Randy and the rest of Illinois!

I am back to work after what felt like a long weekend.

Saturday, we had Riley over and took her and two neighbor boys (5 & 2) to see "Hotel Transylvania".  After the movie, we went to McDonald's Play Place.  They LOVED it.  I very seldom go to McDonalds for anything.  After we got home, they raked up a pile of leaves to jump in.  It was a very lively day with three kids under 6.

Yesterday we went to a local place to watch football and eat wings, salad bar and shaved prime rib.  Amber joined us for lunch and it was very yummy.

Now, just back to work and getting the final arrangements made for LIv's surgery.  She is also going to one more Homecoming this Saturday and I am doing their flowers.

I am feeling a bit better but perplexed as the cultures showed nothing but I still have symptoms.  I guess I will just have to keep an eye on things.

I have to agree that the leave are spectacular this year.  It sure make my long drive more pleasant.

Everyone have a lovely day!

Tell someone that you love them!

I do not like that.  similar to spending four days in the hospital and thentaking iron to keep my count up but know by the feeling I still have some internal something not right.

Need to get the Northwestern surgeons to see me because I really do not want to go back to UIC medical when one of the three best Neurologist in the world and maybe the best for the syndrome that caused all this is at Northwestern.

Dawn-  I had the same thing happen to me.  My doctor's office said my cultures were negative  and I said to the nurse on the phone how can it come back negative???  I have been having severe pain and pressure and frequent urniation for over a month now!!!  she put me on hold to talk to the doctor and he told me to go to the ER because he thought I could be suffering from a kidney stone or something else and I need a cat scan.  So I went to the ER and they didn't give me a cat scan.  What they did do is re-do the culture and BINGO...it came back with tons of bacteria.  The doctor said even though I had been on 3 different antibiotics in less than a month, my bacteria count was at 26 (it should be at 0 and that's with antibiotics).  He told me false negatives happen all of the time.  I would go to an urgent care that has a different lab than your doctor's office and have them run a culture.  I got a differnt antbiotic called Levaquin and so far so good...as you can see I keep thinking it's not gone for good.

Good morning friends!

Another beautiful fall day--golden ash trees outside my window are glowing. I have a couple of errands to do today. It's my baby's 36th birthday. How can I have a kid that old? I feel about his age inside but the outside tells the tale!

I hope all of you are enjoying the fall and are doing well.

Yes beautiful day even though having to zip up the jacket and put on a hat while out today.  Since losing the weight it has taken until today to get used to the cold.
