I know others are up.  I think I can get another hours sleep.  I woke up at 2;30 with a leg cramp.

Must be cramp season. Dave was up with one and I got up twice with one. Mine are in the L foot where the neuroma is @. Cramps are one of the side effects of the neuroma, minor annoyance right now until it can be taken out. Nov 7th is a far more important date in the OR.

Went to support group last night and Dr. Jan O gave a great talk on staying on track.

Work, probably a drive to Crystal Lake to PU a squad, book store near Woodfield to PU a baby shower gift for Sat, Chick-Fil-A (love that place!) for us to share a sandwich and then to Costco near Woodfield. Need more Chobani & cottage cheese, then home again, home again jiggidy jig.

Got my Ryder Cup shirts yesterday from UPS. Still have great memories from being there last Sat.

Hello everyone

Yeah...It's Friday!!!

I have work and then tons of errands to run today.

Well I fell a little short of 199...but I am getting closer.  I am sure I will get it next Friday (every Friday is my weigh in).  I am 3 lbs away...so I am sure next week will be the week I hit it!!!  I will be extra good this next week!!!  People are aways shocked when they find out I weigh over 200 lbs...well that's because I'm 5'9"....when you are tall you hide your weight well.  But according to the BMI chart I need to be 162 lbs to be at a normal BMI.

My friend Lisa, had twin girls yesterday!!!  She has been trying to get pregnant since I have known her...almost ten years!!!  So this is sooo wonderful.  She named them Abigail and Madison.  She also has an adopted girl named Isabella, she's 4.  The kind of neat thing about her situation is that she couldn't get pregnant with her eggs so the birth mother of her daughter donated eggs.  So her daughters, really are related...I think that's kind of cool.

Everyone have an awesome day...see ya later....bye

It's Friday     For me it was a very short work week but I am still glad it is Friday.  It is a 3 day weekend for me as I have Monday off.  I love this flex time!

Rick is on his way to his son's.  He is spending the weekend there.  I thought Gage was going to be there all weekend but he is going to his Aunt's Saturday nite to babysit a dog and Rick is staying at Gage's to babysit the cat.  I told Rick I draw the line at his going to babysit the cat without Gage being there.  How he got conned into that one I do not know.

My poor kitties are passing around a cold.  Smokey has it now and is really stuffed up.  Gizmo started sneezing his head off this morning.  Fluffer started this mess.  Sigh.  Beemer did not run from his shot this morning!  ARe we making progress?  Hopefully yes!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.  No plans here!

HI Steven and Everyone,

Steven, Thank goodness only the truck was destroyed. Glad to hear nobody got hurt.

Randy/Christine, my hubby also has been having cramps at night in his L foot. He always wakes me up and asks me to push his toes backwards and that seems to help.

Crystal, you are doing so great in the weight-loss department. Next week you will be in onederland! I have not been there in 36 years. I hope to join you in the new year. When I think about it I get giddy!

Nancy, Enjoy your time off with the babies. Beemer sounds like he is just happy to have you home.

Lisa, enjoy this day and TGIF!

I washed walls and floors yesterday and have to take a break today to go to some appointments this morning.I had a great week working out and have been going to the 7:30p water aerobics class every night and come home and sleep like a baby.

I love the crisp weather. Great walking weather. The sniffs must be great out there, because my lab sniffs more than she walks lately.

Blessings my dear ones,

Sharon

That does not work due to the Morton's neuroma. I have to physically get up and walk on it to stretch it flat. The neuroma is pressing on nerves.

PS - noone touches my feet, hardly even me. Highly ticklish

Good morning Steven and the rest of Illinois!

Glad no one was hurt in the truck fire.  How scary!

Crystal----I think that is super neat about your friend.  Good luck to her!

Lisa--you will be back to three day weekends very soon.

Sharon--I admire your energy.  I need to get back to exercising.  I feel SO much better when I do.

Randy--I admire your drive to learn new things.

Nancy---I am SO glad you are home and feeling better.  I am sure all the cats are very happy to have you home.

Connie and Kay are having the time of their lives, I'll bet!

Sorry if I missed anyone........

I am working today after having Liv's boyfriend over for dinner last night.  He seems like a very nice young man.

Riley is coming out to stay tomorrow night so maybe we will have a bonfire and S'mores.  Not that I EVER ate them, but the kids and Todd love them.

In 10 days, it will be our 20th anniversary.  WOW!  We are trying to think of what to do to celebrate.  We are so busy that sometimes it is hard to carve out time.  We will see.

Everyone have a splendid day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good morning!

We are back from Tahiti after a wonderful trip. Kay swam with sharks and rays and saw a whale giving birth (but didn't see the baby). I sat on the veranda and watched the water and spent time with my friends. We knew a bunch of people on the trip and enjoyed their company. I did fine with the food except the raw fi**** made my fistulas hurt and affected the skin too. Too bad. I love raw fish and it was available daily and I had to pass it by. Even daily cooked fish was too much. I did enjoy some fruit but was working hard on protein so not too much fruit or veggies. I really didn't mind skipping desserts. They didn't even look that good to me, nor was I even slightly hungry  by that time. I did well with walking and steps but was pretty tired by evenings. All in all, it went quite well after all I've been through this year.

We are still unpacking and washing clothes, but weren't ready for the cold weather. I have to see what fits for fall. Maybe later today.

Have a good day!

Connie
