Thursday Roll Call
Good Morning.
I am happy to see that everyone is staying busy. It is always nice when it is that way.
Yesterday, I took a crazy lunch to work. I had an apple with peanut butter( Thepowder kind), some hummus with green peppers, cheese, yogurt and a fat free, sugar free pudding cup. Something different, and I wasn't stuffed. No, I didn't eat it all.
Not sure what is on for dinner yet.
The fog yesterday was horrible. I watched my milage all the way to work, so I could figure out where I was. Once I got to Ottawa, it was better.
I have never had contacs. But if they make bi-focal ones, I may have to try them.

Good Morning Everyone
It is a cool morning out today but I know it will warm up later. I love this weather!
I got some answers at my doctor's yesterday. I am having an acute asmatha attack/incident. That is why I am having such a hard time breathing. I have a prescription for my most hated med -- prednisone.
I have to call my kidney doctor about the edema. He wants me to consult with him since I do have kidney failure. I wish he would have told me that a week ago!
Beemer does not like his shots. He is now in hiding mode. They do not hurt as he does not even flinch when the needle goes in so I have no idea what part of this bothers him. I think it may be the alcohol applied before and after.
Today is the pain clinic for me.

I have had kidney failure for at least 3 years. I have been maintaining everything without further slides down. This incident was/is a huge concern to me. It may be nothing. My numbers are off but some of that is from extra diuretics. My kidney specialist will get it straightened out. I just saw him for my regular appointment about a week before this flare up so I thought this could be managed locally. I was fine at my last check up and the numbers were fine. They just have a habit of changing dramatically. My oxygen level at the doctor yesterday was 89% Today at the pain clinic it was 96% Go figure.

I feel for you about the Prednisone thing. I was put on it also for low cortisol Level. My body isnt producing cortisol. I now dont have a endocrine system or it isnt working!!!!! So i am on 15 miligrams of Prednisone in the ma and 5 mg in the evening. I hate it!!!!! It makes me nut!!!! . I cant be around anyone that is sick.
they think it might be from having thyroid cancer. but my mother had endocrine problems so maybe that is why.

Well how was everyone's day...good I hope.
Mine was busy. I am going to be going to the gym shortly.....it will kick my butt like always. But I really want to see the 199 looking back at me on my scale!!!
Tomorrow I will have a few errands to run after work...Target, Goodwill, carwash, grocery store, then work out.
Nancy- I am worried about your kidney failure. What will they be doing for you? What is the treatment? I hope everything will be OK.
