Sunday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Well I am up wayyy to early again. 

I heard from Amanda yesterday.  She is having a great time.  She is at a retreat in Peru and will be going to a training center today.  She and Charles will be meeting their host family today too (though they won't be moving in with them for 3 months).  She says the family has 2 kids and dogs...so she is very excited.

My exercising routine is going great...I worked out again yesterday and plan to work out again today.  I hope that I will jump start my wight loss.  My weigh in is next Friday!!!  I have my fingers crossed!!! 

No real plans for today.  I will do whatever I feel like it I guess.  What do you guys have planned for today???

Crystal, I am so happy that you heard from Amanda.  

My only plan for today is to go to Kbogers, since I didn't go yesterday, make chili for lunches this weey, and put some laundry away, I also intend  to pick up a roasted chicken for dinner this evening.

Our afternoon in Morris went good yesterday. seen a lot of Huberts cousins. They are always fun to be with.

Christine, I always get my birdfood at a farm store. They seem to be alot cheaper.

I usually get my bird seed at Ace and on occasion at my favorite garden center though Platt Hill is on the pricey side. Farm and Fleet (no Rural Kings near us) is not real close (30+ miles away) to us so it would mean burning a lot of gas and there would be no savings then. With me going to Wild Birds Unlimited to shop I was mainly talking about feeders, gadgets and books. WBU has high quality seed but costly. 

I am going to help Dave with the lawn today. I will do the areas along the fences for him due to the fact that he cannot struggle with the mower making those tight turns. I am also need to get out to the boxes and pick veggies and harvest the pumpkins.

I made myself two necklaces yesterday and it was fun to loose myself in creativity instead of thinking about medical things. I have enough beads left to make a third necklace. We went to a VFW in EGV for a Polish dinner last night. We both have meals from that for our lunches for the next couple of days.

Crystal, happy that you heard from Amanda & Charles. They have generous hearts and it is wonderful that they are doing this for others in the world.

We went to a fun party last night and so today will probably be a quiet one. We thought about going to the Greenwich art fair but I'd be tempted to spend money on things I don't need so I've decided not to go.

As always I have knitting and reading to do so that will be the focus today.
