Friday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am up so early...but it's Friday so who cares.
Today I am just working and running errands. I am hoping this quick change in the weather doesn't mean the Summer is over...I am just not looking forward to the cold of Winter.
I forgot to mention I went to see my favorite doctor the other day...oh I'm so glad to be back with him. He not only seemed genuinely happy to see me but he inspired me to get my butt back to the gym...so I'm doing that today after work. He also order blood work. He also gave me more antibiotics, as my UTI hasn't gone away completely...at least that's what my test said.
Amanda will be in Peru as of today!!! I am sure she is super excited. I can't talk to her because she canceled her cell phones. So until she gets settled and finds out what how we can communicate at her new location we can't talk. And of course we have no idea how we will keep in touch when she finally gets settled in her host house, because she has no idea where and how rural or poor the area will be. So depending on the conditions (electricity or internet) we might have to communicate via letters. Which I wouldn't mind and might even welcome. It seems so quaint now...to write her.
Christine- I really hope you feel better soon and all of your medical problems will be history. I am glad you got rid of that quack along time ago. I remember that whole fiasco.
Steven- I love my blu-ray...and I stream Netflix over it all of the time. Although, it seems like the selection has diminished greatly lately.

Went to the Pace office yesterday to be recertified or not as ADA eligible for paratransit and discount fares on RTA. The whole thing just has me depressed. I am not sure if I am depressed because my identity is changing or because it is not changing enough.
I have been depressed for a long time anyway and guess I need to talk to someone about that. My PCP gave me a list of folks but none of them jumped out at me as being capable of understanding my convoluted thought processes.

I don't have to leave today until 7:45, which is good. The bad part of today will b I cannot use the computer at the site where I will be, so its back to pen and paper all day. But, as they say, this too will pass.
Da Bears lost to Green Bay last night.
We saw the play, " You Can't Take it With You" last night. It was really good. I will be sorry when the season ends.
Crystal, I am with you. I need to get back to exercizing.
Randy, call the AMS for who to call about your depressions. You can tell them what you want in the person you need.

It looks to be a beautiful day today so enjoy!
Today there is nothing special planned. I have a check class bright and early tomorrow so that will keep me occupied.
The cats are continuing to be a riot. Smokey is settling in nicely however he has a goal of becoming the Alpha cat in the household. I am not sure whether he will make it or not. The others are not keen on that idea.
Steven, I am no where up to speed with blue rays or movie streaming. I guess I miss a lot.
Crystal, I am sure you will be unsettled until you hear from Amanda. Hopefully she will have access to the internet. It will be so interesting to hear about her adventures.
Randy, it is so hard to find a great person to talk to. You might want to go to yelp and see if there are any ratings. I would also look at social service agencies that offer counseling on a sliding fee scale. Agencies such as Catholic Charitie****heran Social Services etc come to mind.

Good morning everyone!
I have to get accupuncture today and then I might go to the new yarn shop here--like I need more yarn!
We are making lists for our next cruise which will be to Tahiti. We leave a week from today. I have all my cruise clothes in one place in my closet so I won't wear them before I pack them, but it's too early to start packing. We can't wait to see all our friends!
Crystal, letters would be a cool way to keep a scrapbook of your daughter's experiences.
