Tuesday Roll Call
Hi My IL Buds,
Happy Tuesday.
I am fall cleaning and started with the first level sitting room. Today I will wash walls and do the baseboards and rearrange things as I clean.
Tonight is my small group and I am so excited since we had the summer off and I love getting in the Word with these amazing people. We do worship music first. I love it!

Good morning!
I am going to spin (yarn) with friends this morning and then to a book group to discuss "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks". Been looking forward to this discussion for a while. It's a book I think everyone should read. It's fascinating!
I may have lunch with friends later.

Hello everyone
I am having a nice time...I'm up early waiting for the night owls to wake up. I'm supposed to wake them up at 9...I have already been up for hours by then.
Yesterday I did go to work ( I don't have too many PTO days since I just started working there). But I have today and tomorrow off. After work yesterday we went out to dinner and we drove to Aurora and visited Amanda's grandma in the hospital all evening. We had a good time. Just joking around talking about old times.
Today we are going to Rock Run Forest Preserve and do some hiking. Then we are going birthday shopping. Amanda's birthday is next month and I decided I wanted to send her off with her gifts. So I am buying her a nice travel purse, some Levis jeans, and she would like a hair cut. Then we are going to Chipotle (because it's my favorite). The people there already know me...hahaha. But I only order steak and cheese...so I don't over indulge or anything. Then later tonight we are going to watch a movie and get pizza. A full day is ahead of me.
My house is a mess and my OCD self is really trying not to care. Their stuff is just ALL over the place. They have packed so much...but they will be gone for 2 year and 3 months!!! The only clean zone is my bedroom and that is where I am taking refuge right now...because they are sleeping in the living room and I can't stand to see my house messy. I tried to offer my bed and take the couch but of course they would hear of it!!
Well back to the regularly scheduled program...have a great day everyone...I know I will...hehehe!!! Bye all

Getting ready to head home after a usual day of work.
First, I get to make a Wally-World trip for staples and birthday gifts. That would be fine if I had ANY idea of what to get the birthday kids. A 16 year old girl and a 14 year old boy........when asked they say, "I don't know...." FRUSTRATING! I HATE giving cash and gift cards......just seems so impersonal.
I made the MOST DELICIOUS Caprese Salad. Not low in fat, but you aren't going to eat all the oil, which skews the nutritional values. I will post it speparately. Very good way to take advantage of fresh tomatoes!
Amanda----make sure to give all my best to Amanda and Charles as they head off on this adventure! I will be thinking of them often. I'm sure you will keep us updated though!

I am home and wanting to do something, but no idea what. I know dinner is on the agenda. I will possibly do a bit of the closet tonight. Hubert got some of his stuff out lant night.
Crystal, will you tell Amanda and Charles to have a great adventure. Also asked them if they would share thier adventure with you, so you can tell us.
Dawn, I guess I usually give money to kids that age. That is really what they want.Put it in a bag with a little something special to eat, such as a good chocolate bar, or cookies. They will love you.

Nancy, FYI, there was a fire on Dee Bennett Rd this afternoon. Over 100 acres were burning .
