Wednesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I like having Mondays off I can't believe it's Wednesday already.  I did have a busy day yesterday....I had two days worth of work to do!!!!  That's always fun. 

I have no plans for the rest of the weeks but this weekend I have Amanda coming to visit before she leaves.  So I will be getting stuff ready for her visit.  If weather permits the family is getting together at Starved Rock Sunday.  So far it looks good.

I found out that an old co-worker is going to have WLS today at 7:30am.  Her doctor is Woodward???  I never heard of him.  I did suggest that while she is recuperating she come by here...but of course she probably won't.  Do you know how many people I have referred to this site...specifically to the Illinois board and no one ever comes...oh well...their loss.  I am excited for her!!!

Good morning!

It's raining here and has been most of the night. We need it so much that I'm thrilled even if it makes going out more difficult. We're going to breakfast in a few minutes.

The rest of the day includes knitting and reading. What a surprise--the same as every day! LOL

 Breaking down boxes, taking out trash and ?security? are listed as my roles at the food pantry this morning.  Volunteering helps mekeep from just having my schedule willy nilly.

Thinking I may try to get a couple of briskets as Saturday looks like it may be a good day to smoke them.

It is raining here too.  But as everyone says, we need it so I wont complain.  Better than that white stuff come winter.  It is supposed to cool off at the end of the week and be really nice temps next week.  Got to love it! 

Crystal, I am sure you are really excited to see Amanda but know you will really miss her when she moves.  ARe you still planning on taking her cat?  That ought to be fun!     It sounds like it has a personality like Beemer -- wants to be an only child. 

Kay, I would love to have the routine that you have.  So relaxing and no work! 

Lisa, I am glad the first day back was not too awful.  That makes the transition back to work nicer.

Chris, good to see you again. 

Randy, I admire you for your independent computer studies. 

Dawn, I hope you are feeling better.

Not much on my agenda for the day except will go out later to pick up some water and see an old friend for late lunch.

I'm so happy to have the humidity gone, it's lovely to open the windows again.

Good moring Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today, then home to meet Amber and Riley.  They are staying over together tonight because Amber has to be toher aunt's by 5:30 am for her trip to Maine.  Riley will stay with us until Friday.  We will have a little one to get ready for school for the next two days.....how fun!

Crystal--I am so excited for Amanda and Charles.  I know you will miss them but what an opportunity!

Lisa---glad your first day back was not too bad.  ease into it, I say.

Randy--you seem to be working out a schedule to keep you out of trouble.  I sure wish I knew how to smoke meats.

Connie----love you schedule too!

 Hi, its late, but just wanted to stop in and say today was alot better.I even found a few shortcuts on doing the semi=new program. 

Other then the went morning, it was a nice day.
