Monday Roll Call
Get cleaned up for the day.
Help unload a truck at the food pantry. Take a G2 with me. Maybe two.
Get to WalMart to pick up Probiotics.
Now there is an extra credit assignment for the Internet History course I should do and I still need to get back into my python programming course.
Went to a Harvest.Org event at Mt. Olive last night. They had a "light meal" afterward. Too much even for Cheryl and of course I just had some nibbles of cheese, meats and the veggies from a pasta salad.
My hernias were killing me yesterday but are settled to a mild rumble today.
How is everyone else?
Well, we got some much needed rain yesterday. It was nice and steady, a good soaking rain.
Not alot of plans for today. I want to work some more on my quilt, maybe a run rio Walmart, the $ store, and over to Peru to check out something at SS.
Tomorrow I am heading up tp Yorkville, to exchange back the cars, then my Annette will do some shopping. She is on vacation this week.
I hope everyone has a great day,
Hugs, LISA
It was a humid morning out there today. I thought I had moved to the south! My first thought was New Orleans. Muggy, muggy, muggy.
Today is the last week of August with labor day this weekend. Where did the summer go? I can't believe it is over. I want more.
This looks to be like a quiet week for me which I am glad. Dont need a lot of excitement.
Randy, I admire all of your volunteer activities. I need to get back into that mode.
Everyone have a great day!

So happy for the rain. The soaking was so needed. It is muggy like a jungle out there. I just took the garbage out and thank God for air-conditioning.
I got my lab a new leash and collar and intend to walk her today. I've been rather lazy about walking her and have just been letting out in the yard and throwing the ball what seems like a 1000 times to get her exercize in. Suki is going to be so happy for the daily walks again.
I have to run to the UPS store to return some too big clothes I ordered and then will probably go to Jewel and stock up on the 99 cent per pound chicken breasts they have on sale and then spend some time putting those in freezer bags.
My hubby wants beans and cornbread for dinner so I will start that as well.
Have a lovely day my dears,
Sharon
Hi everyone,
Today we go to Madison to the doctor's and of course a stop at Metcalfe's market. That's all that's on the agenda but it will take all day. I just love to go to Madison. There are such great shops and restaurants there.
Have a great day!

Just got home from the doc and he is quite happy with the healing. I am not but the alternative (more surgery) is not on my wish list, so I will gather up more patience and wait. I did lose 6 lbs this month which is great.
We did a major shopping at Metcalfe's ($117) and got all kinds of stuff you can't get here and then went to Brasserie V on Monroe. I found my new favorite restaurant. It's Belgian and i had the Croque Monsieur which is a very fancy ham sandwich and it was better than all the ones I had in Paris two years ago! the waitress said I made the chef's day! I told Dr. Garren about it and he says he goes there often! Good taste!

It's a bit late for roll call but oh well.
My wife is back from her vacation visiting her mom in CT. It was very quiet in the house for 10 days!
She enjoyed the time she spent with her family.
I had my first indication of abusing the pouch last week. It wasn't bad food, I just overcooked the chicken and on top of that I ate too fast. I don't want to do that again! I thought I was going to loose it but it settled down after about 40 minutes. Things were going so well I guess I just got over confident.
Have a great week.
Kevin
