Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am up at 2:30...because I was sooo tired I fell asleep at 8pm. My UTI is doing good. The antibiotics are doing their job. No more pain, no more frequent trips to the bathroom, I can sleep more than hour at a time without having to get up.
I also don't think I have pink eye. I do have red irritated eyes but I think my allergies are going wild. My ears are all blocked up and popping. As far as my eyes go...there is no pus...there is no crustiness. I think I got worried seeing my eyes all red. I got some Visine and it seems to be doing the trick. And I'm taking Allegra. I am just a mess right now!!!
Needless to say I am not working out right now!!!!
Yesterday at work my boss called me into her office to tell me what a good job she thought I was doing!!! She said she wants to give me more responsibility!!!! So I will be getting some collection accounts. Yeah me!!!!
Today I am going to going to stay indoors with my AC on...because my allergies. I never got tested...but my allergies always seem to go haywire towards the end of Summer (end of August beginning of September). I am sure I can find something to do around here.
So what are your plans today???

Good Morning on this last Saturday of August!
The unofficial end of summer is 1 week away. Remember when we were kids, September 1 was put away the sandals, get out the darker clothes, and no white shoes or purses. Of course, now I will wear my capris and sandles until it starts getting cool.
Last night we joined friends and Monica and Scott in Utica for supper. I ordered a sirlion chopped steak, it was good, but so big I will have it d for dinner tonight at least.
Crystal, I am glad you are feeling a bit better.
No plans for today except the usual.

Crystal, you really have been through it! Hope you are on the mend.
I stayed home all day yesterday doing this and that. Today we go to knitting and then to the Frank's Place event. This is an open house for the Laurent house which is the only wheelchair accessible house built by Frank Lloyd Wright. This will be a fund raiser ****tail party. We know several people who are going and were excited to hear it sold out. It should be fun.
Not much else going on here. Once all the kids are in school I'm going to plan a few lunch dates with a few moms I don't get to see much.

Good Afternoon everyone
I missed yesterday. I felt awful so spent most of the day in bed and the got grocery shopping out of the way so I could veg the rest of the weekend. I really felt horrible when I got home Thursday and discovered I had a temp of 103.6 No wonder I felt bad. Sitll running a temp but not as high. Hope this goes away fast now that I am on antibiotics.
Crystal, I am glad you dont have pink eye. That was all you needed.
Lisa, I remember the days where you did not dare where white after labor day. I dont know who made that rule and what would happen to you if you did and who was going to enforce it if you broke it but NO ONE ever tested it.
Someone finally wised up and said "screw it, it is 90 degrees outside and I will wear capris and sandals and be comfortable! " I love that person! 
Randy, bravo for you for slogging through 2 weeks of material. I might have given up.
Connie, I did not realize that Wright built a wheelchair accessible home. Is it open for tours?
Dawn, I hope you are not overheated on your camping trip.

Hello My Dear Friends,
Slept late, it was divine. Then my hubby and I went out for breakfast and ran around a little in Chicago. He HAD to have the red outfield'sWhite Sox hat so we went to some special store on 35th and Lowe in Bridgeportin Chi-town and bought him what he has been dreaming about all summer. He will probably bring it to bed with us tonight. He makes me smile, because the simple things make him sooo happy.
Crystal so happy you dont have pink eye. But also so happy for the recognition from your boss. I'm not surprised, you seem like a real go-getter and now-adays that's rare to find in an employee.
