 Good Morning,

It looks like we may get some rain this morning. I won't complain, we need it.

No plans for today. I will probaly work on my newest quilt, make sure everything is ready for my reture to work on Thursday, a nice chicken dinner and the laundry.

It has been a very quiet weekend.

I hope everyone is doing what they need to do today, then enjoy the day.

Huggers,
LISA

Hello everyone

I swear I sound like an 80 year old but I am having sort of a bad reaction to the antibiotics(Cipro) I am taking.  I always read all of the literature that comes with the medicine so when my joints, heels and tendons started to hurt I knew...I was having a bad reaction.  I am not about to stop taking the medicine.  So I am treating the joint pain with meds and wrapping my ankles and staying off my feet.  Jeeze I can't wait to get to the doctor!!!!  My UTI seems to be fine but I know I can't just stop taking the meds right in the middle of the course.

Oh and by the way my allergies are fine now...it just took some AC and some Allegra.

Amanda's grandma had heart surgery a couple of days ago...she had her mitral valve replaced at University of Chicago.  She is doing great and recovering.  Amanda went into Chicago to visit her...and she took the train back home.  I didn't get to see her.  I will see her on the 9th.

Well today I plan to stay off my feet and watch a lot TV and do nothing.

Have a great day all...see ya later...bye

I've been MIA . Things have been so busy, busy, busy with work and school and family. We've had a lot of family events lately. Fun times and learning how to eat with other people. Today marks 65 pounds lost and feeling amazing.

Grad school is grad school. I've got a week between classes and that I'm grateful for, because I fully intend to enjoy my Labor Day weekend! Husband is back in class and working about 20 hours a week. Things are so-so with him. I'm so worried that I'm going to lose him as I feel better and better and want to be more active and get out more. I hate that I keep getting stuck with all of the housekeeping and life managing tasks because he just never gets out of bed. It is making me bitter and I've been finding ways to stay out of the house to avoid it. Which I'm sure isn't helping either.

Missed you guys and hope everyone is well!

Congrats on a great journey with your weight loss. I'm sorry things are not great with the hubby. Marriage is so hard, but so worth the hard work. My husband is old fashioned and feels like the house is my responsibility. He feels his job is to work and bring home the paycheck. I am always a tad angry about this and I am always a tad angry that he wont exercize even tho he has very bad diabetes and hypertension and takes 14 pills a day. BUT, he is my best friend, I adore him and I try to remember we are a threesome and God blesses our union. Things are FAR from perfect, but we are in for the long run, not just this short race called life. I will pray for you guys. Best, Sharon

 Hello All,

Well, first we were going to go to Greek Fest in the city, then we were going to go to the Christian concert in Berwyn, then we decided it is just to dreary to do anything.......looks like a lazy day in front of the tv. Love long Sundays in front of the boob tube. Have a great day! Sharon

Good afternoon Randy and the rest of Illinois!

I am back from camping and glad to say that it went really well!  Riley did not throw a single fit and mostly everyone got along.  Liv was less than thrilled to be there, but she even made the best of it.  When we woke up this morning, it was lightly raining.  then it stopped, we packed up and got everything home and in the house........right before it started POURING!  Great timing once again.  While I was relaxing yesterday with my bone stimulator, the rest of them went for a hike........they took a wrong turn and wound up in a different park miles away!  I had to go "rescue" them in the car.  What a great memory!

Liv is working tonight and daddy is going to "wrastling" with his friends in Rockford, so it will just be David and I.  We might go take in a movie if we can find one that we both like.

Everyone have a wonderfule evening!

Tell someone that you love them!

 Afternoon Everyone!

I am playing lazy today.  Yesterday and today I spent a lot of time on the computer.  I bought a coupon to make a photo book on Groupon and have to use it by August 31st.  So I decided to make on of the "kids"  It is fun but I did not realize how time consuming it is.  There are long waits while photos upload at times or pages save.  It will be fun to have.  Of course I had to take some additional photos so that there were equal phots of each one.  Otherwise we will have the "mom like me best fights"

My sinuses are still giving me a run for my money.

Crystal, sorry about the drug reaction.  I have those too. There are a lot of meds I cannot take.  That is always so much fun.

Randy, you have a nice agenda today.

Lisa, it has rained here all day.

Christine, glad to see you back.

Samantha, glad to see you back.  What you are experiencing in your relationship unfortunately happens in some of the weight loss surgery people.  It is not uncommon.

Sharon, I love rainy lazy days.  They give us a chance to pause in our hectic lives.

Dawn,  I am glad the camping went well.  Sorry the hikers got lost.  I did that once in one of the 2 state parks here and I thought I would never find my way back.  It is a little scary at the time but you laugh when you look back on it.  Now you have a great blackmail story.

Everyone have a great day!
