Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I have no idea why I'm up so early...it's Saturday!!!!
Today I am finishing up with my shelves and I will be all settled in. But first things first....as soon as Target opens I will be there to buy the Hunger Games movie!!! I have been waiting for this for a LONGGGG time!!! Then I want to go to the store for some lunch meat...I'm in the mood for a turkey sandwich for lunch. Then after I am done with the bookcases I am going to clean and clean. That is my Saturday in a nutshell.
I think the reason I am so efficient at moving is because when I was with Amanda's father we were always moving. We moved 10 times in 12 years!!!! So it's safe to say in that time I became quite an expert.

What a glorious day the Lord has given us.
I am having lunch with 2 girlfriends today. The gal that is hosting was my assistant for 12 years when we worked together at the cancer center. I am so looking forward to spending some time with her. She is a health freak and i know the lunch will be something I will not be guilty about enjoying.
Afterwards I have to go to Costco and get my Premier shakes. They are the only shakes I can tolerate. Since it's cool I am going to make a turkey breast in the oven. It's one of my favorite proteins.
Tonite we are going to play cards at another friend's house. I have to say, that is one of my favorite things to do.

Sharon, you and Crystal have good plans for today. Me, not sure, but I know it will be filled with cooking and baking. Maybe even start on a new quilt.
We are officially signed up for the cruise in April in 2014. We are doing the Southern Carribbian route. Anyone interested to join us, PM me for more of the details. I guess I am committing myself to keep working until then at least, to pay for it.
I need to eat breakfast. Just not sure what I want.

Not sure what I will do today.
Cheryl went back to her orthopedic doctor having only gone to one PT session. They gave her some exercises har doc said do nothing and wanted her to come three times a week. Doc wrote a new prescription for only once a week and home exercises that do something we hope. She is there now.
Then we need to do budget, reconcile the checkbook and pay bills.

Hi Saturday early birds!
Today is knitting with friends at the Bookworm Cafe and probably little else. Last night we went to the farmer's Marke****ched the people and listened to the music. We bought some Mirai corn (the best!) and a few other things. Then we went to Octane for dinner and sat outside. This is what summer was supposed to be like. It was really pleasant. Maybe I'll knit outside this afternoon. I haven't sat on the patio yet this summer and it's just gorgeous.

Hi all,
I am home alone for 10 days! My wife is visiting her mother in CT.
I am going to try moving stuff from the downstairs up to one of the spare bedrooms so I can get ready to replace the carpeting with Pergo. The wife will be shocked if I finally start this project!
I have to bring one of the cars in for muffler repair and I will probably visit a friend in Ottowa. The dogs and I will go on a road trip.
I finished my first week back to work. I am so not used to planning my food for the day but I am managing. I an getting in 80-90 g of protien a day. . I lost 16lbs since my surgery 3 weeks ago. Is that normal? I actually thought it would be a little more. I did lose 66 lbs pre-surgery so maybe that has something to do with it. I read that 7lbs a week is not uncommon after surgery. Anyway it is what it is and I know I am eating as directed.

Hello Everyone!
I am checking in. Yesterday flew by and so did today. It is absolutely beautiful today. I just spent close to 3 hours on the deck visiting with a neighbor. It was fun We havent had a good talk in a long time.
Now we are going to eat some supper and then Rick and I are heading to Walmart for the shopping. Rick and Gage did bow and arrow target practicing earlier today. I have a tree that may never be the same!
They were supposed to be aiming at the target, but kept missing so the tree got it several times. Hopefully it will survive. Men!
We went out to eat last night to Olive Garden. So we have been busy.
keven, you came down to Lisa and my neck of the woods today. We both live about 15 minutes from Ottawa. Hope you had a good road trip.
Crystal, hope your bookcases are all together and everything cleaned.
