Sunday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well I am pretty much settled in. I didn't get much sleep Friday night. I finally got to bed at 3am and I was up before 6am. Yesterday I worked all day and got all 44 of my boxes unpacked....except for my books. I have to buy book shelves. I will do this next weekend. Today I am hanging my picturse and curtains and doing laundry. I have to wait though becaue I can't go banging on the walls at 6am!!!!
My friend is coming over today because my coffee table doesn't fit in my new apartment and I'm giving her my coffee table. She is also bringing her husband so he can try to see if he can get a stripped screw out of my kitchen table. I took my table apart so it would fit in the storage unit. I tried to put it back together and one of the screws is stripped and won't come out. I need someone with lots of upper body strength. So hopefully he can help.
I also ran and did groceries yesterday. I had nothing in the fridge. I am going to run to Menards today to buy picture hanging kits. I am going to finish up early today and relax. I think I may run to Chipotle for dinner.

I was AWOL yesterday. I know I came onto the site, but then I got a phone call, andtotally forgot.

I just KNEW you would be moved in and organized right away, Crystal. Good for you! I still have some stuff in boxes from when we moved 10 years ago. I guess I don't really NEED that stuff!
I am getting ready to go see "Hope Springs" with Amber. Just the two of us. Then maybe lunch after. I am looking forward to it since I don't see her as much as I would like.
Liv is doing well at her new job and enjoying it. She wass very tired yesterday though and actually slept until I came home at 3 pm and woker her up!
I had a great adventure yesterday up in the Broadhead/Albany area. I went up to Broadhead because I had heard that they had the BEST sweet corn (it was true---$ 5.00 per dozen). I also got fresh potatoes and a musk melon for David. Then, I decided to check out the Amish stores a little farther north that I have seen when we go to Madison. The first one is called the "Bent & Dent" store. My, my, my.........everything you can imagine (dry goods) and the prices were really low! I got a large bag of chip for the family for $ 0.75. I got the tubes that you put in water bottles-----20 for $ 1.75. I wound up with a huge boxful of stuff for about $ 38.00.
THEN, I stiopped at the "Bulk Foods" store. The sweetest man told me all about thier egg production and I bought 2 dozen fresh, brown eggs for $ 3.00. At this store, they have all kinds of baking supplies, popcorn, spices, soup mixes, etc......they also had home made cookies, cakes and cashew brittle. It was an experience that I will repeat next time I am up that way.
After the movie, I will come home and finish up a beef stew that I started last night.

Nothing will stop you girl! I am so happy that you are all settled in. That is a good feeling to go back to work knowing you dont have to go home and unpack.
Lisa, I hope you enjoyed the Sweet Corn fest. I have never been because the weather has always been in the 0-'s or raining. This year when the weather is nice, I am sick. Good for you getting a hair cut etc. It is nice to get that done.
