Thursday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Like Nancy, today is my Friday. Tomorrow will be a busy, busy day. I have to meet the movers down in Urbana between 9am-12. So I may have a bit of a slow start waiting around for the movers.
Today at work we are having a BBQ and boy do they know how to put on a BBQ. There will be hot dogs, burgers, chicken, brats, Italian sausage, all the fixings, salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, chips, dips, fruit tray, veggie tray....and so on. I can't believe the amount of food they will have there. I really think they want us all over-weight....hahaha!!!!
Then after work I am picking up the key to my place. I am dropping off a few things there today and I will be shopping for a new microwave and bring that there today too.
I am excited but also sad. I will miss Brenda and the rest of the family. It was so much fun watching the Olympics with her and just hanging out with her. She makes yummy dinners (I will have to make my own food again!!!). But I will have the comfort of my own place again. I will be close to work and I will start working out again.
Well how do plan on spending your day???

No plans for today. I want to finish up a few things I have been working on. Of course, when Hubert gets home it will look like I did nothing, but, if I get this stuff out of the way, then tomorrow I can do other stuff.
The sun is trying to peek out. We received no rain other then a sprinkle yesterday. We need the rain!!!
Crystal, you will be starting on another new journey tonight. How exciting.

No plans for today. I want to finish up a few things I have been working on. Of course, when Hubert gets home it will look like I did nothing, but, if I get this stuff out of the way, then tomorrow I can do other stuff.

Hi Y'all,
It looks like we are finally going to get a real rain shower. If my knee pain is any indicator we should be getting a whopper of a rain storm.
I am in my office, looking out onto my back yard. The grass is finally green again. I am surrounded by my 3 huge male cats all sleeping. My snoring lab is "perfuming" the room with her extremely nasty gas. It's a total love fest right now.
I am having a hard time getting my water in each day lately. I have to stick to a drinking schedule to get my water in before it's too late each day or the consequences are the scale doesn't move. You'd think with the heat, drinking would not be an issue.
Going to a late afternoon movie today with my best friend. Any suggestions on what we should see?
Hope today is a winner for all of you.

Crystal, tomorrow is your big day. I am happy that you will be getting back into your own place.
Lisa, it is great to be able to do those small things. They do add up. Also, I may go to urgent care this evening if I dont feel any better. I refuse to go to the ER as I have a $500 deductable on my health insurance every time I step foot in one. I dont know what other insurance companies do. I will have to be on my death bed of scared to death to go.
Sharon, it is harder to get all the water in than you think. So it is good to be conscience of what your are drinking. Also, do your cats snore? Mine do. Some are really loud!

Had a lab test today and am back home already. It really looks like rain. We can only hope!
I don't really have any plans today except the Olympics tonight. There are always things to do around the house but nothing that must be done today. Maybe I'll do some reading.

I spent yesterday with Liv in Madison and Monroe. Madison for her ear, Monroe for my mammogram and other adventures in between.
Liv's right ear does NOT have a build up of fluid, it is retracted severely against the hearing bones. The good news is that it is not really affecting her hearing. The doctor we saw was not her usual doc so he wants to discuss her case with the usual ENT and they will call me and let me know what they think. THIS doc seemed to think that there may be a surgical permanent fix that does not involve another tube. We will see. He agreed that we made the best decision at the time concerning the SCUBA.
While in Monroe, while pulling out, we got hit by another vehicle. I was freaking out about my "new" car but when I got out.......there was NO damage that we could see. The guy was in a company van and offered to call the police right away, but Liv would have been late for her first day on the new job and none of us could see any damage so he gave me the name of his company and we parted. Of course, when I got home and tld Todd, he REAMED me a good one for not getting the guy's insurance information and name. I will try to call his company today and atleast get that information.
The bone stimulator lady called today to tell me that they finally got authorization from my insurance company and she is bringing it by my office this afternoon! I hope it will help with the healing of the bone. My boss (who smokes and may be the cause of the non-healing) said that he thought the surgeon "screwed up" my surgery and that's why it is unhealed and told me that at least I was trying to make it better but that he didn't think it would work.........whatever!
I am not sure if we will have to go eat dinner with Liv in the forest or not. If the weather is bsd, Family Night may be cancelled. It is sofly raining now so we will see!
Well, gotta get back to it!
