Every morning I go out to my garden and one of my ripest tomatoe is half eaten. Could this be a chipmonk? A bunny? Help!

Thanks,

Sharon

I just started having this problem, but i think my issue is a dreadful crow. I do have a lil bunny that visits but the eaten ones are too high.  I haven't done anything to prevent it maybe i need to make a scarecrow. lol i would look on youtube I'm sure someone has a good idea of how to protect them, good luck!

You are battleing a Woodchuck. They look like a beaver, but they don't have a big flat tail. The easiest way to handle them is to put a good fence around your garden and place it at least 6 inches under ground. My husband  bolted the fence to the railroad ties that surrounds ours.
Hope you have good luck getting them out of your yard.

Thanks everybody. My tomatoes are on my patio in giant earth containers. I did put a mesh fence around the containersyesterday this morning my tomatoes were laying on their side knocked over. I had about 30 green tomatoes knocked off the bush. Geeze!
