Politics and Religion

Hi all!

Well, it's that time of year again and I'd thought it might be helpful to say that this board in particular (as opposed to Facebook and others) is about support for one another as we deal with surgeries, emotions, life, etc. It's clear to me that we cover the whole belief system from one end to another and clearly have the right to disagree. I would hope that as things continue we would leave the politics and religion part on other boards rather than this one so that we continue being supportive of one another.

Thanks for your consideration about these issues.

Connie

Connie, I couldn't agree with you more. There is no room for politics or religion among friends. We are all different. That is what makes us all get along. I for one don't base my friends or either  politics or religion. I don't flaunt it either. Same with sexual orientations or the color of your skin.

Hi all,

I am back fro Las Vegas and six days out from surgery.  I ran into a couple of speed bumps but I am moving along in my recovery.  One was a large blood clot on the left side of mt stomach.  It swelled up pretty good after surgery and now is all sorts of back and blue.

I have been handling my diet well with no real nausia while eating.  It is definately a challenge getting all that protienin.  I picked up some iso-pure drinks so I can get in the protien while getting my fluids in.

We did get to go to the Hoover Dam and we wnet to Freemont street on my last nights stay!  I was exhausted but it wos worth it.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Glad you are doing OK Kevin. I've had trouble with the protein too but found a product from Click which is mocha flavored and decaf so I can get my coffee taste without violating my doc's plan.

Sort of slow this morning.  It took me a few moments to figure out the time of year is the upcoming elections.  My mind was focused in other directions.

Yes welcome home Kevin and since we seem to have hijacked Connie's post I want to make some comments about the universe and micromanagement of markets by governments but I guess I will restrain myself.
