I also love Marianos. The store in Libertyville is about 20 minutes from me. I love the quality, the cleanliness and the service.
My son will be starting there next week. He will be working in the produce department. I am so happy for him as I have only heard positives about working there. He ended up having to quit Great America as the heat was giving him health issues. Being inside will be so much better.

Karen---Good news about hubby's eye surgery.  How scary.  Hoping that he gets back to work soon so your lives get back to normal.

I am working today, then home to get ready for A Day in Rock City.  Even though we no longer serve on the committee, we still have guests stop by so I need to get ready.  Todd is working tomorrow morning so he won't be home until afternoon and I have NO IDEA when the first guests will arrive.

Good afternoon all,
This has been a busy week for me.  I finished moving out of my classroom and into my new room.  Now, I need to arrange my room before school starts.  Oh well, I choose to move grade levels.  I am excited and nervous.  I will be working with Transition age students - 18 - 21.  One can look at it as I am their "college" professor.  Actually, we, the other teachers and I , we will work on living skills, and preparing the students and families for life away from school.  So much for parents to do.
This week I have also been revisiting the gym.  I started going to a Tae Kwon Do class.  The gym has this 2x a week.  OMG!  My abs are so sore!  Between the martial arts and the other circut training, my body is yelling at me.
To all, I have been thinking about you.  Everyone is in my prayers.  Sorry I have not personally responded.  Do know, I am thinking of everyone.

Hi everyone!

I went to Catherine's shopping today (I can't wait to not have to shop there) and I bought a blouse in 1X. That's a big change from 5X. I'm pleased! But I don't have much to wear. I could "shop" in the basement but I'm not good enough at stairs yet--maybe next week!

Kevin, where in Door County do you go? We rent a house out near the Cana Lighthouse. It's quiet out there and usually quite cool. We love the Harbor Fish restaurant in Bailey's Harbor and the Waterfront in Sister Bay. We were able to eat at both places this year even though we each took half the meal home. We now always have a cooler in the car. We also found the cheese shop in Egg Harbor. It's a good protein snack for me.

Dawn, I know you love this Rock City weekend and I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Ahhh Friday!  *kicks off shoes and relaxes*

Tomorrow is still up for debate on what we'll do. Probably just goof off at the house. Maybe put the pool back up and relax since we didn't do it last weekend. Sunday is my husband's grandmother's 80th surpirse party. I got a new maxi dress in a size smaller to wear to it. I'm super stoked to wear the dress and show off my 40+ dropped. I will get a nice photo to share my excitement!
