Going back to bed.  Then I will get up at 5 and drink coffee while getting my light prescription in.  I can get part of it outside if sun cooperates.  Need to pay some bills and if there is money left over I may go to Target and Aldi or I may wait a day or so.  I have a chair being delivered.  Modern looking glider swivel recliner.

What is the rest of OHIL up to today?

I have been awake for a while also.

Dave has physical "torture" today and then we serve food to the midweek team before the service tonight. I want to slip in a ride to the med supply store in Roselle to get him another sling and one of those fuzzy things to put on the strap so it takes some of the pressure off of his neck.

Not much going on with me. Chloe is helping at VBS this week and I am just working.

Chris you and Dave just take it easy. Chloe's mom has suffered a few times from adhesions and blockages too. Not a lot of fun. Hope you are feeling some better.

My microwave displayhas been out for months. I finally got fed up and have been researching new countertop ones. Finally found one I ordered through Abt electronics, so that came yesterday. Will work on getting that unpacked and set up tonight.

So, did Chloe's mom end up having any surgery to release the adhesions? That is what my primary and one of the surgeon's from the Kane group are leaning towards at this time.

Yes, she has had a couple of adhesion surgeries over the years.  Her Doc is Guskie and I met Kane Jr one time when he had to do emergency exploratory on her when guskie wasn't available!  I am VERY familiar (unfortunately) with Alexian in Elk Grove.  When you said you were on 5 peds and locked in, that is just where Amy was last January and a couple of different times before that! 

I have seen ABT ads in the Trib, so went online and they had the model micorwave I wanted, and also it was cheaper than anywhere else by about 15 bucks.  Free shipping, just had to pay tax.  I ordered it Saturday afternoon and it was at my house yesterday!  Surely can't complain about that!  They aren't anywhere near me, but would love to wander around one of their stores!!

Good morning!

Thought I might be first but you a really get up with the chickens! We are doing our usual Wednesday breakfast. I am going to the Farmer's Market and then to knitting so it will be a busier day than usual for me. 

I talked to my son yesterday, it was 110 in Phoenix. Told him how hot it was here and he said it probably felt worse here! He's a cook at Chili's so I'm sure his evenings are horrendous even with A/C. My daughter lives in southern IL where it is also hot and humid. I know you northeners think it is humid here but it's far worse in Carbondale.

I finished a lovely lace shawl yesterday. I will probably get a picture up on Facebook later today or tomorrow.

My sister lives in Huntingburg, IN which is a little N & E of Carbondale and she gets horrible heat and humidity also.

Wow, so many posts already and it is only 7:30!  I posted yesterday but when I looked later in the day it was not there.  Not sure what happened. 

Randy, enjoy your new chair.  I think I want a rocker/glider.  I sat in one when I was recovering from my back and was in a nursing home for rehab.  It was so comfortable!

Connie, I thought about you cleaning your office.  That is such a HUGE task.  I am glad it went well.

Dawn, so glad you are able to skype with Liv and also happy there is another non scuba person so that she is not the odd person out!

Lisa, I hope you are enjoying your vacation and I hope the temps are a lot cooler than here.

Georgie,  That is great that Chloe is there and that she is helping with VBS.  What a great idea to keep her entertained while you work

Chris, I hope you are feeling better each day.  Blockages are not fun!  I am so sorry that you are having to endure this and so often.  I hope they can get is resolved.  I also hope Dave is healing rapidly.

Hello All,

Just came in from watering my garden. What happened to the cooler temps? Feels hot to me. My tomatoes and peppers are massive and seem to love this heat.

Off to my daughters to help her prepare for her family's road trip to Myrtle Beach.
She went back to work nights to help her husband pay off his school loans and with a 4 year old and 18 month old, she is always happy for a hand.
