Monday Roll Call
Morning - I am still here @ ABMC. Hopefully I will get sprung today as this is getting boring. My regular doc is supposed to be in this morning. Over the week-end her partner was into see me. No one from the Kane group and I am guessing that since there was no need for surgery at this point they were not needed for me anymore. That is fine with me because that is one last bill my insurance has to pay for.
Well, it is full liquid Bfast for me. I am hoping to go home before they advance me to a regular diet because I can make that at home myself.
What is happening in your area of IL? Wondering where Crystal has been? I suspect she is busy with work and getting ready for her new place to live.

Very nice of Dr. Kane to take a look at my pictures of my pouch and stitches while I was there with a GI bleed.
I found their clear liquid diet to be nothing so hope you have a nice IV going. Their customer Service guy was able to find some gluten free chicken broth that was tastier than the normal bullion cube stuff they serve.
What is up with the rest of us. Trip to Northwestern with Cheryl this morning and then I think I am going to stop and by a chair on the way home.

We spent the day up in Canada. It didn't take to long to cross the border, either way. The guys are sleeping and Monica, Morgan, and I are outside on the patio deciding where to go this evening. Tomorrow we are going to the Island.

Hello friends,
Well, I'm going to tackle my office today. I made arrangements to have a friend move the furniture home next Sunday which means I have to clean out my desk and hutch and at least start arranging my books into keep and get rid of piles. I so don't want to do this, but it has to be done. Once I get started it will be much easier, I'm sure.
Christine, I hope you get to go home today and start to enjoy your regular food.

I am back at work as usual. I went to Todd's Hawaiian Night on Friday and they won the game! The cook out and kareoke (sp?) and dance afterward was a lot of fun. Saturday we went out with the neighborhood to celebrate one of the nieghbor's birthday. Yesterday, I did the HUGE grill out so that I don't have to cook all week!
I got to Skype with Liv on Saturday afternoon and it was good to see her and talk to her. She said that they cought a 3.5 foot stingray in their siening net! Very exciting! I also Skyped with her before bed last night and she said that there was another student who didn't dive on yesterday's excursion so they hung out on the surface together. She seems to be having a good time but is a little subdued. Maybe she is just tired.
"A Day in Rock City" is this Saturday and we are expecting company to come and hang out. Except for the Swiss Canoe Races, we will probably spend most of the day in our backyard. With the ankle, I will NOT be doing the races, but Todd and David always participate.
I know Crystal does not have much internet access. It will be nice once she is settled in her new place to see her smiling face again each day!
That's about as exciting as it gets for me.

Got my arse handed to me in the classroom today. Two year olds were restless staying inside this afternoon. But it felt really good to be back in there and the kiding are getting adjusted again to the regular routine. I never am able to get on in the morning on weekdays, but I hope everyone had a great day! Tt was too hot at the party yesterday, so we only stayed for about an hour and a half. Found out my sister in law is having a little girl in 20ish weeks though!
