Wednesday Roll Call
Happy Hump Day Everyone!
It is midweek! We made it half way through this week! Time to celebrate as the weekend is fast approaching!
For me, nothing exciting is happening today. I have work and then home. I am supposed to do blood tests today to see if I need a shot tomorrow, but since my hematologist never called me back I guess it must not be that important, so I think I will skip them and see if I get his attention that way.
If they dont want to communicate with me, then I am not sure I want them to take care of me. I have not noticed any changes as a result of the shots. I have lived with this genetic disorder for 60 years and it hasn't killed me yet. I can be stubborn too. I am in that kind of mood right now.
Gizmo is being so funny. IT helps as I really miss my Tigger. IT just isnt the same without him.

Need to call my new doc and get the last of my prescriptions switched when can be switched to mail order.
Have opened the mail. Accidentally opened someone elses from the Chicago Department of Revenue expecting it to be the ambulance bill and not even reading the name.
We had three days weather that seemed normal to me and even days like today are a blessing to me since the mornings and evenings are considered cool to a native Texan.
Was surprised to see you up so early Birder. I hope your breakfast was a good one.
Going to Taste tonight but not expecting to stay very late. May check out a furniture store close in on Milwaukee on the way in.

Got a small break here at work so thought I'd check in.
Not too much new with me. LIv seems to be having a blast at camp and David is David.
Planning on grilling tonight.......pork chops with a cherry balsamic grilling sauce from Galena Canning Co with fresh whatever I can scrounge fromthe garden. Last night, we had fresh green beans and yellow squash!
Back to work for me........

That grilling glaze sounds amazing!
We're way overstaffed and I'm still on kitchen duty this week, which means I get cut early. This is bad because we need my income. Next week I get back to the classroom, not so easy to cut me there. I took advantage of the early out today and got in my work out, B-12 injection, and lab work for my thyroid drawn. Making burritos from ground sirloin and grilled chicken on wheat tortillas for the family tonight and stocking the extras in the freezer for a quick night in the future. Gotta get started!
