Almost too hot for anything.  Half of a deep cleaning at the dentist this afternoon.  I will likely get stir crazy and get out and do something before then.

Hi everyone!

It's a quiet day here with Kay answering the hotline phone for Master Gardeners. I did some laundry and cleaned up the kitchen. We are going to a party for dinner tonight and another tomorrow. I guess the heat will have an effect on how long we stay at the parties.

I am still doing a lot of reading but it's time to get back to knitting or I won't ever get the lace finished that I started.

Stay cool and well hydrated. At least all of us are accustomed to drinking a lot of water, so it goes down easier!

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

Another hot one out there!  We are expecting to see relief Sunday!  Hurry up Sunday!

This morning, I slept in some then they came and did servicing on my ac unit.  Just routine check up.  Then it was off to the car dealer.  I could not get my remote to work.  Had to learn that this one operates differently.  Sigh.  

No other plans for today.  The AC is great.

Chris, I hope Dave's pain eases up.  I agree that they let people out way to soon.  It all depends on how much your doctor can argue with the insurance company.  Plus you have to meet certain criteria.  

Kevin, welcome to the board!  Have fun up in Door county!  It sounds nice!

Randy, will you go to the fireworks?  I saw that they are one of the best displays in the country.

Dawn, have fun back in Wisconsin.

I am guessing you are talking about Navy Pier.  Likely a bit late for us and it is so hot.  Cheryl only has Wednesday off and I am having my teeth cleaned today so thinking we will stay in tomorrow.  I have taken out already smoked brisket, hot polish sausage, cooked brocolli for tomorrow and have seafood soup for tonight.

thanks all yes Florida is amazing but its really the stay in check with my foods and not over doing it and its a mind thing now lets face it my size changed my voice my looks and pictures from before too now are way different... I am learning so much about myself peace and thanks again everyone
