Sure hope today is less eventful

Happy Wednesday. I am about off to work here in a short while after I get things done for Davey. Need to do quite a bit for him especially with food. After work I will take him out to get a script filled and he will have a "field trip" to the grocery store.

So, you know what I am doing for the next 6 weeks what is happening in your world?

 &

see yesterday's roll call for the full details about Dave's fall.

Hello everyone

Yesterday was a good day.  My days at work are flying by because I am training all of the time.  I have people pulling me in different directions to have me train.  So I am happily busy at work.

I forgot to mention that I am going to have movers move me to my apartment!!!  So I don't have to do it and I don't have to bother people to help me.  So this move should go nice and smooth.

Yesterday was Amanda and Charles' 1st anniversary!!!  I can't believe it's been a year already....and what a year it's been!!!

Christine- I'm glad Dave is OK and it wasn't a stroke.  Does he know how he broke his shoulder?

Nancy- Another kitty....and he got a way.  OMG...he sounds like a trouble maker...hahaha!!!

Well I really need to get going and get ready for work.  I can't wait till I move.  This commute is a pain...at least it's not Winter.

Have a good day all...bye

Gizmo is adorable but he is a BIG BRAT!  He has selective hearing.  When you call him he takes a message and then gets back to you when he is ready!  It is all on his terms.  He is between 5-6 years old but has the energy of a kitten.  Plays hard and sleeps hard.  When he is awake he is super active and he is dead when he is asleep.

Good morning!

We have had a lovely visit with our friends from Indy. We took them to Social last night and had a fun dinner. Kay and I shared the lamb meatballs. Very delicious! The sauce was fabulous.

Today we head out to Door County and Lake Michigan. The house we rent is about 300 feet from the lake. I wanted to try a trip out of town to prepare for our trip to Tahiti in September. I wanted to see what areas I still need to put in some serious work. I'm sure walking is one area and we can do that easily in DC. Several of the restaurants we like have steps so we'll see how that goes.

We got invited to our neighbor's house for a pig roast next week. We won't begin to make a dent in the pork but we really like these folks so it will be fun.

Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend. Don't know how much access we'll have in DC. We'll have to go to an internet cafe to get wi-fi. We know the house doesn't have it.

I have always wanted to rent one of those houses.  Is there an agency?

Tell someone that you love them!

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

First off, Chris, tell Davy, I am thinking of him.  OUCH!  That is not what he needs.  It is a good thing that this did not happen on vacation and spoil that time.  I hope he can get the pain under control until surgery.  I do know breaks hurt like heck!  Good luck to him on Monday.

Last night I tried to get on OH and my virus blocker had blocked the sight as malicious!    I had a terrible time getting it unblocked.  All because OH has advertisements.  What's next, facebook?  GRrr.

Today I have my appointment with the spine surgeon to see what is up with my back.  I hope it is not bad news.

Dawn, I sure hope Liv gets good news today on her ear.  That would be terrible if she could not dive at scuba camp.  I hope David applies for that job that sounds like it was made for him.  It sounds cool.

Crystal, I am so happy that you are able to have movers move you the last leg of your move.  This new job sounds like it is made just for you.  You are your old happy self again.  Congrats on Amanda and Charles wedding anniversary.  It does not seem like it is a year.

Randy, I hope you are staying cool in the city and coming up with new plans for the future.

Where is Georgie?

Connie, have fun with your company.,

Lisa, your mashed potato salad sounds good.  I will have to try it.

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning.

I took myself out to the front porch for my morning coffee today. It is in the shade and mostly cool. I love my coffee, but it taste so much better when it is served outside.

Christine, I am glad it was just a bone, but from what you were discribing, it sure sounded like he needed a pacemaker to me.

Crystal, movers make everything better.

Connie, your plans sound so good.

Dawn, I hope Liv is getting better.

Steven, Georgie, where are you??

Randy, You seem to be adjusting to city life,

Deb, will you get anymore time off before fall?

for not having any plans yesterday, I was busy almost all day. Just doing small things that had to get done. A repeat for today, except we are probably going out for dinner. I could learn to like this life, but I am missing my paycheck, so back to work in September.

Have a great, warm day,

Hugs,
LISA

Actually, it was more of looking like he had a stroke.

I still need to write down all my meds and organize getting them through mail order.  Then some online banking to begin rebuilding credit.  New doc said my hemoglobin was high enough to not have to put me back in the hospital but started me on iron to get it higher.  Nothing was said about iron deficiancy just the loss of blood had not completely stopped is my guess as I had some of the same symtoms and a nervous twitch where my internal stitches are.

After the bank yent to find a store called Gus's but only found a Tony's finer foods where I was told Gus's would be.  They had some Scott Peterson Hot Polish Sausage though that I just enjoyed two links of.  Need to get some quart size freezer bags.  Got bacon and four cheeses while I was there.  We were out to Shaumburg for small group last night.  L to Cumberland then Zipcar Prius to Schaumburg.  Fried fish chips and shrip from Hagen's on Montrose last night. Have leftovers.  Went for a walk this morning and took some nice pictures of a tree and flowers.  Only know how to use laptop and FB to show them to others.

Already 82 so maybe I will just hibernate and do my indoor task today and tomorrow Unless I get early and do somethings.  Sausage got me a little too full.  It will take an hour and some water to correct that.
