Friday Roll Call

Not that it means anything, I am in limbo right now I guess I have to call the woodworking place to find out I did not qualify for the class. Doctor visit yesterday went well and I should call about the blood work. I am scheduled late next month for fasting blood work and a physical. He also put through a request for me to see a baritric doc and the sleep/neuro I want to see.
It is my day off and I am up nice and early!

Not much going on here except playing with my new vacuum! I end up getting the Dyson and so far I love it. Who knew I had so many dogs hiding in my rugs!!!

Life here at home has been calmer the last couple of days. My son is still planning on moving out after high school which is in December for him. As much as I hate the idea I also look forward to it. Nancy, you wise words meant so much to me regarding this. Thank you.
I did talk to my son and he knows he can move back any time as financially it is very hard to make it out there. He has a good friend he wants to room with and they are looking at Kenosha. Not to far from home - about 30 minutes. I can visit and make sure he is eating etc! Of course driving goes the other way for Dan to bring me his laundry!!

My daughter starts summer school pe in a week. Poor girl, so use to sitting around playing oh her computer vegging will be in a pe class from 7:15am until 12:15pm!! She will be sooooo sore!! Oh well, three weeks of intense exercises vs a semester of gym! This gives her more time for electives.
Well, all have a good day. Enjoy the sun!

It is going to be a bit cooler for the next few days!

I am looking forward to July. My sisters will be having their grandkids for a week each. For my sister whose grandkids live in Florida I have not seen those kids for over 2 years and they have grown! The youngest was 3 months old when I saw him. I am really looking forward to seeing them.
I hope everyone has a great day!

Working today and it is going to be "one of those days". The boss is cranky as heck. Yelled at me because there was a voice mail from Walgreen's saying my pictures would not be ready until today on the company phone. Walgreen's has my work number because 10 years ago, when I didn't have a cell phone, I gave them this number because here is where I am during the day. Kinda late to get a message once I get 45 miles to the west......
He even sniped at the "golden boy". WOW!
So.....here's hoping the day flies by.
After work, I pick up Liv and we have to usher for "To Kill a Mockingbird" at the Playhouse. Maybe swimming tomorrow and not sure about Sunday.
I saw on Facebook that Crystal's daughter is being sent to Peru for the Peace Corps. in September. I guess everything is working out just as it should for her. Hopefully, she will find a place soon so we can see her again. Congrats to Amanda!!!!!
Gotta get back at it.......everyone have a spectacular day!
Good morning!
I've been working very hard on a hat which i am knitting. It's a complicated pattern but I can see the end in sight. I want to fini**** today. It's from a new book called Knit Red which is a project with profits going to women's heart health. I already made a shopping bag and a scarf from the book and just started a sweater yesterday.
Today is probably my last day of rehab. I'll miss the staff at Alpine Fireside. They have been wonderful to me. But I'm glad to have made enough progress to be finished.
No other plans for the weekend except to get ready for visitors next week. The house is already picked up. Fortunately neither Kay or I can stand clutter so it doesn't get too messy except for yarn which we both use. Mail and newspapers go into the recycling daily.
Have a good day today and enjoy the weather! We'll all be complaining six months from now!
