Please see Randy's Roll Call.  He got his posted before mine was posted.

Good Morning Everyone!

I sure hope you are staying cool.  It is FINALLY the first day of summer and the  temperature has already been at summertime temps for several months.
Yesterday, I had a nice surprise.  We were not busy at work so I got to go home at 8:45 AM and had a whole day to do things!  I took advantage of it and even had a nap!

Dawn, I hope things work out with David.  This is all part of growing up.  IT is so hard to watch him struggle but he is learning from the consequences.  And how nice it is for him to have two parents that he can come to for help.  Not every child has that luxury.  I think he may be starting to realize how fortunate he is.  Good luck to all of you.

Connie, It sounds like you are getting better each day!  That is awesome!

Chris, I am glad you and Dave are enjoying your vacation.

Crystal, I hope the new job is going well.

Lisa, I hope you are enjoying your summer.  Good luck in court.  I hope this FINALLY gets settled.  They sure know how to drag things out!

Debbie, I hope the school day is good.

Randy, I hope you are staying cool in that urban jungle!

What is going on in your corner of the world?

Another red hot day in the North Woods is in store for us.

We were smart and drank a lot of water yesterday. I think we both got in close to a gallon. We count our bottles as we go. Spent most of the day first walking while it was cool, had our old fashioned Christmas pic taken and then back to the pool. Had some left over chicken, cheese & crackers for lunch and then back to the pool.  We went on a sunset dinner cruise last night. It was nice to be semi cool. But there were times when the boat was idling that it was hot. I thought I was going to keel over before we boarded because it was so hot where we were waiting.

It is transition day for us as we move to Chula Vista Resort. Before we can check in we will go to Baraboo, walk around the square - they have an old fashioned town square, go to JoAnn, go to Wally World I know, I know we do not like them but it is a place to walk in the coolness and buy jewelry supplies and then check in. They are one of the few Wally's that I have been in that still has a large craft area. We will not leave Chula's property because our package covers meals, room and the water park.

Thanks again for you kind and guiding words.  I certainly hope things will work out well but my over-active imagination sees all kinds of terrible things in my nightmares.  We had a bit of a rough spot with Amber but NOTHING like this!

There was another piece of good news yesterday......Amber's company now offers scholarships for study of Life Sciences......Marine Science included.  So....when Liv is ready, she can apply for them.  They offer (2) $ 10,000 and (4) $ 5,000.  She also wants to begin college visits.  I guess we should have driven her to UNCW so we could visit her first choice.  Oh well......maybe we will surprise her.

So again......everyone have a lovely day!

Tell someone that you love them!
