I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Well today is laundry day and then off to the grocery
store. Then I think I will read a good book today.

Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there.

Mine has been gone since 1990. He was a good father and a decent man.

I just finished a cherry pie for Hubert this morning. I even made my own Jiffy crust. Steaks on the grill later.

No plans today. Just a few things to do, then possibly  some yard time.

Good morning Steven and the rest of Illinois!

I am up and have boiled the eggs for the Deviled Bacon Eggs, cleaned and vacuumed downstairs.  I will jump in the shower shortly then down to make breakfast for Todd and finish the eggs.  We are going to a friend's today for swimming and a barbeque.  I am also taking a new chicken recipe for the grill and will let y'all know how it turns out.

We spent yesterday at Amber's for Riley's 6th birthday.  It was nice.

Liv and I went to the dive shiop on Friday to get her SCUBA gear and it was going to be $180.00!!!!  Since they did not take AMX, I had them put it on hold.  Todd about had a coronary!  He wants me to see if anyone has stuff she can borrow.  So, if anyone knows of anyone.....let me know.  I will pay for shipping if it is possible.  I am thinking it is a pretty long shot here in the middle of the country.  I may ask her grandparents to get it for her for her birthday.  We will see.

So, off I go!

Dawn, can she rent her gear when she gets there? I am going to take it that she will fly there to her destination? If she does it is going to be costly to check that gear. Another thing if you want to go the route for the purchase - try Play It Again Sports as they have used sporting equipment and you might find some there.

For some reason, she has to have her own gear or purchase it down there.  They will rent the wetsuit and tanks and regulators, but she needs her own mask, fins and snorkel.  Her grandparents purchased these as a late birthday present.  The fins will fit in her suitcase--checked baggage.

Happy Sunday. We "gained" a day because we kept thinking that yesterday was Sunday.

Arrived in the Dells for Bfast and then we went up to my neice's summer home on Castle Rock Lake (near where my folks retired) and started out on their pontoon boat and the heavens opened up forcing us back to the dock. We visited in the house instead and then came back to our motel and checked in. Had a great dinner at a place that is bayoo or Louisianna style. We have eaten there before and the seafood is always great, shared a dinner and it was just enough.

Today we are going to Trapper's Turn (golf course) for father's day lunch and then back to the pool here at the motel. It is supposed to be hot for the next few days and humid - YAHOO - pool time.

Hope everyone is having a nice Father's Day. It seems to have gotten more attention this year than other years.

We are going to Barnes and Noble just to get out and do something today. I'd like to stop at Ulta too.

I'm curious about what multivitamins you each take. I've been taking Flintstones complete but I don't like the taste and I'd rather take a capsule that I can swallow. Most of the capsules I've had in the past are gigantic and probably wouldn't work now. I've got all the B vitamins solved and everything else I need except the multi.

For a multi, I take Centrum Chewables.  One in the morning and one at night.  I don't find them too terrible.

chewy bite chocolate flavored the are sugar free and I also take a Iron chewy-Bite chocolate 
Raspberry truffle also sugar free I really like these vitamins.
