Happy Friday Eve Everyone!
Another beautiful day in Illini land. It looks to be the same type of day for me -- work and then home. Not much happening here. Gizmo is still at large. He has been sited in the neighborhood and the "experts" tell us that he probably will remain in a 2 block radius but may be difficult to catch. We may have to set a live trap for him. He doesn't know his name.
I have posters with pictures made and will get those put up later today. The back still hurts. I will get xrays tomorrow when I have a day off.

Good Morning,
It is going to be another beautiful day. No rain in sight
I know, we still need it.
yesterday turned out to be busy. I worked on things here at home, then ran around toen with Hubert, getting home in time to join friends for supper.
Today, I do need to go to Krogers, pick up the house, put the second coat of paint on the tables, ( i locked the shed the other day, not meaning to, and had to wait for Hubert to get me a key.) Hence, will do it today. and i want to put some poisen on a weed patch.
I am sure you will find Gizmo. I know it is worring you.

I hope all are having a good day! I start summer school next Monday. I am torn with "Yeah" the additional pay will help with future expenses, and "Ick", I wanted to chill all summer. Oh well!! I am grateful for the work and the ability to provide for my family.
Nancy - good luck with finding your cat. I can sympathize with you on having a lost cat. When we moved to Illinois in 2002, we lost our cat for 3 days. My kids we so upset. Thank goodness we ended up finding him 3 days later by an Italian restaurant up the street.
Lisa - Sounds like a busy day for you. Glad you are enjoying your time off. Have fun painting!!!

What a short summer break! Boooo! But like you said, the money will be great. I have been getting reports on Gizmo sightings in a 2 block radius. So I know that he is around. I got a phone call tonight that he is VERY friendly and went into the woman's house on Tuesday, so hope someone has not tried to "adopt" him. I have fliers out now.

Hi everyone!
It's another beautiful day. We had a lovely dinner at Abreo last night--duck breast--beyond delicious! And just the right amount for me. Today we will go out to lunch with my daughter and then she leaves later in the afternoon. We've had a good time together.

I have been around but only lurking due to getting things done at work and then home. I am getting a bunch of beaded necklaces done with the beads (I call them my "jewels") that I bought in Galena. I have a table reserved at Itasca Fest flea market to sell my necklaces.
Tomorrow at 11 I have a dental appt to get the first part of my implant done. If you all remember I had that cracked tooth back in Sept of 2010 and it had to be pulled. Well, I am finally getting it replaced. Everything I have read says that it is not all that bad to have the implant placed. At the most I will just need Tylenol or Advil for some of the discomfort. I can take Advil on occasion if I eat some food at the same time - but only "occasionally". But, I am making sure that I eat my left over birthday dinner from last night tonight.
I have the sprinkler running right now and the "toms" and other veggies and flowers are thanking me. Well, off to do some more brainstorming for another necklace.
