Friday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Well the next 3 days will be hot here.  I'm not really looking forward to sweating my butt off.  I just can't see putting on the AC when I can't afford my electric bill without the AC.  So I will look at the bright side...it will be like sauna in my house.  Maybe I will lose weight...ya right.


Other than that...nothing is going on.  It has been a slow week (even though it seemd to fly by). 

What's going on with you guys....

I agree, it is going to be a hot one today, and all weekend  Of course, I love the heat.

I have a bunch of errands to run today, as well as getting to Walmart, since I didn't go yesterday.

I got a call at work yesterday that a portrait that i had framed was done. Like all kids, I had to hurry and go get it after work. Of course, Hobby Lobby is in the oppisite direction from work to home. But I love it.

Last night, I cleaned my kitchen. The only thing I need to do this morning is mop it. I want want to get the whole house vaced today, and put some stuff away. Oh, and leave to do the errands by 10. ( i need to leave this afternoon open for sun.

Do you have any ceiling fans or small free standing fans? They do not draw much electricity and they could help keep you more comfortable.

They changed the forecast to high of 84...that's fine.  I am happy with that.  Tomorrow will be 90...that's hot(hopefully not too humid).  But Yes the ceiling fans will be in full use.

We are supposed to hit the highest of 85 but weather bug is saying lower 80's. Hopefully it will not be too humid.

Doing the Friday catch-up stuff so the desk is clear when I leave at 3pm.

I can't believe I missed role call all week!  Sorry about that. 

I spent the last three days training and getting to know our new temp.  She was very nice and interesting.  She was born in Columbia and her family is now mostly in Guatemala and Equador.  Notice I said, "was".  When I got here this morning, I was told that she had quit giving no reason.  Well.........I KNOW the reason......it is because of the ILLEGAL SMOKING.  The boss thinks that since he owns the place, he can smoke in his office (with the door open).  I had apparently been a bit "used to it" before.  I have only been back 3 weeks and I am coughing and my lungs feel "icky".  My eyes burn by the end of the day.  This poor girl went home with a nose bleed on Wed.  She had said that maybe we should wear those face masks with the filters on them.  I guess she figured it really is not worth it.  I hope she files a complaint.  I think I will.  What's he gonna do.......make my life miserable?

Besides that, things with me are pretty fine.  PT was good this moring and I am getting stronger every day.  We have a new project in the neighborhood.....a joint garden!  I am trying to think of what else I want to plant.  I will have to look at recipe sites to see what sounds good.
