Wednesday Roll Call
What is happening with all of you? I go to Willow after work to serve food in the area below stage called the Tunnel. Then home after the clean-up.
I have been dealing with a snarky dispatcher that does not think she has to do her job of greeting the mail person. So, I have plans . . . . . . . . . . She does not like the silent treatment so I will just take the mail to her window slot and plop it down and not say anything. She will have to get up then and she will be chomping at the bit to bark back at me. I will just stare at her. Everyone tip toes around her and I am getting tired of it - 7-8 years of being tired of it. She needs Attitude 101 again. I cannot figure out how someone can be so unhappy in life. I guess it is because her husband did not become chief of police where I work and ended up retiring under pressure.

It is my Friday eve for me. I am loving it! It is supposed to be another beautiful day today. Yesterday ended up being warmer than I thought it would be. I was surprised when I left work at how warm it was outside. This week I seem to be tired so I am trying to catch up on rest in the evenings but that doesn't seem to help. I probably will need my sot tomorrow. I did not get it 2 weeks ago so I must be anemic again.
Chris, there always seems to be at least one pill in every office. I just hate that. I wish we could choose our co workers or be able to ban the "special" ones. Good luck with yours!

Well my day is the same as yesterday...in fact each day is the same as before. No change. At least not yet. I did get a letter in the mail from the place I interveiwed and they hired someone else. So I didn't get the job. I am hopeful that something else will come up. I am actually hoping to get a job at Carle Hospital...I keep submitting applications there. They have good benefits, they are close by, and they have their own health club (free for employees).
Yesterday I made salisbury steak for dinner and I made enough for today too...yummy. I finished my first Harry Potter book and started my second. I am liking them a lot. I only own the first 3 books....then I will have to go to the library for the rest. I wish I could own the whole set. What I will do is buy the books after I get a job. Because I am sure I will reread them.
Christine, I often wonder what makes people so rude and mean to others. I think they must have terrible lives...but then when I think of the life I had and I still manage to have a smile on my face. I believe some people will be unpleasant no matter what kind of life they have. They are sadistic and they are happiest when they are making other people unhappy.
Well I got to go...I hope I find more jobs to apply to. see you all later.

I am off to the LaSalle County Courthouse this morning. Then to work. The fender bender I had in March, called for a manatory court appearance. I will be nice and just pay the $120. fine.
I agree, there is one in every office. If not Attitude, then trying to bully everyone. Your solution is fine. Silence is the best.
I think we are going to eat with friends tonight. Then home to watch the Vow.

Hi folks! I got myself to the computer today so I could post. I've been following you all on my iPad each day. Seems like everyone is enjoying the weather. I went out to breakfast today, then to knitting and then to outpatient rehab. Now I am tired. Kay is having bunko tonight so she is cooking. I'm going to make guacamole later but I'm not much help otherwise. I am walking a bit without my walker, but only in the house. I did go up one step both yesterday and today, but the back entrance to the house is seven steps so I still have a ways to go. It's been seven months since the first surgery and I've lost 80 lbs--but what a way to do it! I bought some new blouses without trying them on and they were too big, so they have to go back. That was kind of exciting!
