Getting out to look for an apartment two weeks later than expected.

Will check in on my phone to see if any responses.

Do any of you know of a nice one bedroom apt in Chicago or close where one can take one metra, red, purplem blue L or bus ride of 30 minutes or less into the Aon Center available now and without a huge deposit. $1200 max and approval based on rent history not credit score.

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

Randy,

Crystal gave ya some info a few days back about a website to go to where you can look for into like you posted here and on FB. She also mentioned that you can filter the location also. I think you were just in the hospital when she mentioned it.

Here are some apartments I found on craigslist.com

These are just some of what I saw.  I of course don't know what your price range is or if you want a 1 or 2 bedroom...But if this is what I found in just 15 minutes you could probably find something you need.  Good luck.

Hello everyone

Well I had a weird day yesterday...I was sitting here watching the TV show Gangland.  The show does documentaries of different gangs.  They were doing one on the bike gang The Outlaws.  My uncle was really big into this gang ( I know I have a really messed up family).  So watching this was interesting because it gave me a scary insight into his "other" world.  Not that I know him that well anyway.  But as I'm watching this show I Googled the Outlaws and they have a website...yes can you believe that.  They have a memorial section and I found out my Uncle died last year (he was only 50)...the people in my family live hard and die young...my mom was only 57.  Well I Goggled his name and found his obituary.  That listed everyone in the family.  I searched for them on Facebook and I found my aunt and uncle.  I hope it wasn't a bad idea to reconnect with them.  My family tends to be bad news.  But I could really use more family in my life.  Right now other than my daughter I have no family (blood related) that I talk to.  My aunt was really happy to hear from me. She can't wait to visit me. She sounded normal.  Weird....

Anyway...back to my day...which is not much of anything.  I might take a bike ride over to the Farmers Market...not that I can buy anything.  But at least I will get out.

Have a good day all.  See ya later.

Good Morning.

The first thing on my list for today is to go to the cell phone place and replace my new ( 9 month old)phone. I thought I was being smart yesterday, and stuffed it in my bathing suit. Well, it would of been ok, but...........anyway, it ended up falling into the toilet. So, a new phone is on the way.

Other then that, I already watched a movie that I want to send back to Netflix, i need to fold some laundry, and get ready to go to Yorkville this afternoon.

This past week we have only been home one evening. To much going!!!

I hope everyone has a nice and dry Saturday.

Hugs, LISA

 Afternoon all.

I am sitting here relaxing after fighting the mob at Wally World.  I decided to get groceries out of the way today instead of tomorrow.  I got some huge tomato plants already in planters for the patio.  I was going to put some in the ground but decided to take the easy way out.

I was glad I was off on Friday as I really felt horrible.  I slept most of the day.  Feel a little better today but still stuffed up and nose running like crazy.  The throat is less sore though.  Rick and I may go explore the new Olive Garden tonight.

Randy, glad you are free now but sure hope that your problem is resolved and not just hiding.  Good luck with the apartment hunting.  It sounds like you have to move soon.  When do you have to be out of your current place?

Lisa, you are running a lot lately.  Hope you can find some home time soon.  Sorry to hear about your cell phone.  That was a huge bummer.

Steven, glad you have some time off coming up.  Three day weekends are great!

Everyone have a great day!

We started the day with going to the local Lions Club annual pancake breakfast and after that I came home I cleaned up the planter containers in the front and put my Salvias in them.

I came in for a bite to eat at about 12ish and sat to get a snack with the intensions of watching a little TV and ended up sleeping for about 2 hours. I just came in after sprucing up the last 2 veggies boxes in the back so I can plant the rest of the plants that arrive next Saturday from the Garden Club.

We are off to walk down to our fav Italian Bistro for a snack in a short while.

My little hummer has "exited stage left" and I have not seen her for about 5 days. A guy I work with suggested that she is probably nesting.
