Morning/day all!

How's it going out there in IL Land? Even though this weather is crappy I am still managing to get things done outside. I look forward to the day of not owning a house and being in a condo or townhouse.

I have the ever present helicoptor seeds to clean up and this time it is on the north side of the house near the sidewalk where we have rock because nothing will grow in the shade. The 1 drain area is almost done. I hauled two more 5 gallon buckets of rock yesterday.

Want to go and enjoy my java  and watch the birdies at the feeders.

Later

PS - forgot to congratulate Randy and Cheryl on their new grandbaby!

New grandbaby is five years old and gained by daughter marrying his dad.

My body went crazy when we got home with pain so great that when I got up I would pass out and even though this did not feel like Vertigo I had before the OTC med for it seems to be helping.  Pains in my shoulders and thighs seem to lessening but pain in my left foot found a way to move over to my right foot.

The bride has something for us to do every day but Thursday.  Wait I take that back.  I got river rocks and washed them to hold down the table decorations and Sherry picked up her dress and shoes that were being held presale at Macy's.  We just did not have to get approval from the Brife that day as those had already been discussed.

Good Morning,

Randy, isn't it nice to add a new grandchild, either through marriage or birth? Congrats, and may you and Cheryl spoil him rotten.

I got 6 pots planted and placed on the new garden spot yesterday. 3 or4 to go. Hubert was able to get the tomatoes and peppers in also. I had an idea of maybe planting the tomatoes and peppers in a grid, to stop the weeds from taking over as they do every year. We layed a tictac- do of roofing singles on the veggie garden, then planted the plants in the opening. I seen this done years ago by an older neighbor.  I hope it works.

Today I WILL get the bed changed, finish the laundry and clean the kitchen floor. Plus, get the flowers done.

Christine, I had 2 goldfinches at the feeder yesterday. The only place I am seeing lots of helicopters is on the patio.

Have a great day.

Hugs,
LISA

Still waiting to see my Rosebreasted Grosbeak again. They come for a short while right now but I have only seen 2 so far. Chickidees galor, horrible Grackles (many people call them Black Birds), Jays, Downy & Redbreasted Woodpeckers, Cardinals, House Finches and of course the ever present Sparrows. My gold finch feeder has had visitors but I have not seen them yet.
