Saturday Roll Call
It looks to like it is starting out as a beautiful day.
Lisa safe travels.
I am going outside as soon as the temp comes up slightly. I have compost and peat moss to add to the boxes and some of my containers. I have a small pile of wood chips from last year that needs to be spread out my the boxes also. That is about by day in a nutshell.
What is happening in your corner of IL? Anything special happening this weekend?

We have a grandson visiting for weekend. Babysitting another till his dad gets off work. Baseball practice for the granddaughter we are raising.... IF it doesn't rain, I'll leave hubby with the grandkids and go for a walk. Might check out Planet Fitness....
I had a productive day yesterday. I went to the job fair and signed up with two temp agencies and I also put an application at another company that was there. Then on my to the job fair I stopped off and put a application in at another place. Afterwards I met my daughter for lunch (she treated me). We were going to walk but it was so rainy that wasn't going to happen.
This weekend I am going to troll the internet for more jobs. Other than that I am staying in.

Good afternoon friends,
I haven't been able to post because I only had my Ipad with me but I've been reading your posts daily. It turns out that today is 6 months since I had the revision to RNY and is my first day at home since the surgery. I was in Madison till mid Jan and have been in a nursing home since. It is quite an adjustment to be home. My favorite chair is too low for me to get out of. I had to learn to walk again because I was in bed for so long, so I have to use a walker. I still need to build significant strength in my legs. I can't go up steps yet either. All this will come in time. I am glad to be home and overwhelmed at the same time.

It has been a relaxing day for me. The cats all got a good brushing this morning. I then chatted with friends. Now I am getting on line to see what is going on. No special plans for the weekend.
Christine, good luck with your outside tasks. Sounds like a great plan.
Crystal, it sounds like you had a good day yesterday! Hopefully you will get some very positive responses from your day at the job fair! I am glad there were some possibilities out there. There are probably loads more on the internet. Happy hunting. Take your time. Dont just grab a job. You are a highly qualified person and deserve the best.
Sam, it sounds like you had fun today and got some great buys. We need the rain but it keeps going around us.
Connie, it sounds like you have been through the wringer. I had no idea that you had so many issues with your surgery. That is really scary. I am glad you are back home now. It takes awhile to get back in the groove so take your time. I am glad to see you posting.
Lisa, have a wonderful trip!
Dawn, more positive mojo going out to you! Enjoy that cast free leg and no more falls!
Georgie, where are you?
Randy, did you find a place to move to yet?
Steven, hope you are ok.
Have a great day!
