Hi all!!
Long weekend for me with no work today or Monday so I plan on cleaning up the house and shopping for a new couch.
Crystal check to see if you have a health dept there that has information for meds for you I know there is a medical clinic in Joliet that helps with meds and the health dept helped my daughter with hers. Praying you find a new job in no time.
Nancy- Hope the meds in half work better I know they did for our kitty.
Lisa- the appt was for a class with the NUT but I think the lady who gave it is a nurse? she's def. the scheduler. I think it was silly to wait to have this hour class when all she did was weigh us put us in the waiting room hand us a folder and read one of the pages about ins. to us. Not at all what I thought we'd get as far as support to lose weight prior to surgery. The handouts are okay but I've researched more by myself. Have fun on your cruise!

That seems weird that the NUT dictates whether the paperwork is sent into the insurance company. For my doctor and my DH doctor it was the doctor that determined when the info was sent in.
It really does not matter if the person that gave the class was a NUT, nurse or the scheduler. It is the doctor that determines the medical necessity. What transpired for you and the others was a was a situation of data collecting so the doctor and other medical professionals in the office can make the determination to send the info off to the insurance company.
I am not sure who your insurance company is but before I scheduled my last appointment my doctor already had the approval for surgery (I received the CC at about the same time- 2 weeks after the first appointment). For my doc office I had to go through 3 months of a presurgical practice diet.

Hi Everyone,
Life sure does have its ups and downs. I havent worked since December. I wor PRN at a nospital and got a letter I no longer have a job cuae I havent worked in 90 days. Well duh you havent called. I got texed to work and then she text me back 2 minutes later and said she didnt need me!!!!! go figure and hasnt called since. I filed for unemployment and got it for lack of hours. They went back 18 months and I am making more money on unemployemnt that when I was working.....
I cant seem to get another job.....
I am planning on going to Colorado for a montha nd comming to Chicago for a few days to see my daughter and my family. I am leaving towards the end of May for that.
We had to file Bancrupcy and that is a good thing. it seems we have more money!!!!!
Its getting hot down here in Florida and comming North will be a good thing!!!!!
