Good Morning Everyone!

It is a nice sunny morning here with promises of 70 degrees today so I will take it. 

Crystal, I hope you are doing ok.  I am glad you are now eating.  You do need to eat.  Hang in there.  Remmber to take some deep breaths and pet that Jasper.  He is just what you need right now. 

Dawn, I a so sorry that you are having issues with David again.  I sure hope it will work out.  As you said, he is 18 so there is not a lot you can do.  But if he falls, you can be there for him.  It is hard to watch your child go through that knowing you can help but them not letting you help.  I am not sure how you stand it.  Hang in there too.  We are here for you. 

Yesterday I got out of work early and went home and called the vets about Tigger.  I took him in and we saw a third vet.  He is not very optimistic.  It sounds like this will shut Tigger's kidneys down if we cant get it solved.  We are trying an additional medicine.  He just doesn't know when to urinate and then his kidneys become overly full.  I hope I dont have to put him down. 

Whats happening in your corner of the world?  We need some good news out there!  Any one have any?

Nancy I'm sorry to hear about Tigger I hope you find the right medicine to help.

I have a busy day ahead of me. Our annual meeting at work is being held at lunch today I can't help but notice these days how many of my work events are around food. Next weeks dinner meeting with Pizza our reward for doing well is BBQ lunch at the boss' house. I guess once I get this surgery I will be carrying food with me a LOT.

I have my ECG at the heart doctor's office today after the lunch.

Should be a busy day but uneventful I hope.

Blue ink for blue skys. I am at work, counting down my last few hours before I am off for vacation. Tomorrow i see Dr. G and the Nut.Hopefully Dr. G will deflate the lapband, so I won't have anymore probems on vacation. Then, hopefully, when we get back it will be to good news about my revision.

For anyone who knows Connie Garry, She has been in the hospital and rest home for the last 6 months. She had a revision from her lapband and then had a preporated bowel 2 weeks later. She is home now, but will still have a long recovery ahead of her.

Crystal, Nancy gave you sound advice yesterday. She knows, she has been where you are at.

Nancy, I hope your Tigger comes out of his problems.We never want to have to put our furbabies down.

Dawn, I understand your fustration with David. You will live through it.

Heidi, You are right. We are always bombarded with food things. Bringing your own, when you know you can't eat what is being served iswhat we all do. Most of the time there is something that will be ok to eat, but having your own helps. I always have protein bars, string cheese, Crystal lite, and guten free crackers in my purse for just those times.

Dawn, didn't you publish a list of ideas for small meals a while back? Maybe we need to see that again.

Hugs to Crystal, prayers are sent....Nancy I am so sorry about Tigger...Dawn I feel your pain kids do need to find them self's at that age it took some of my older children a year to figure it all out....Lisa enjoy your trip...we are out of water.....are pump stop working at 5ish last night glad I got threw to the land lord but still not fixed I am glad I have two things of bottled water for my animals....I have test set up for the month of may for my sleep apnea and my blood doctor and I found a doctor here for my wls after care...so things are starting to fall in to place everything takes time...peace and enjoy your day
