Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Yeah it's Saturday!!!I am relaxing and watching Criminal Minds. But first I vaccumed and and did a load of laundry. It's supposed to be a bit warmer today...69 degrees...I am thankful for the pleasant Spring we have had so far. But I agree I can't wait till the Summer!!!!
Yesterday I almost bought this wash machine cleaner (it was almost $8 for 3 packets) but I thought I bet I could make some homemade cleaner that's just as good. So this morning I mixed up a batch of vinegar and baking soda with a bit of lemon juice and ran it through my washer...it smells good as new. I was reading some tips on the internet and they are saying I should leave the door open after every wash, to let it dry out. I was getting a smell in my washer ( I have a HE front loader). I saved myself $8. As soon as I finish up the cleaning supplies I have on hand...I will be making my own cleansers. I have everything I need to make my own. I just need to use what I have here...I really stocked up so it will be awhile before I start making my own. Homemade cleansers are cheaper and healthier and just as effective. Not to mention I am a single woman...I don't make things that dirty...why do I need heavy duty cleansers. I have been using Seventh Generation laundry detergent for a couple of years now and of course it's supposedly not as good as Tide...but I'm not needing something heavy duty...I mean how dirty do I get?? But as soon as I'm done with the butt load of Seventh Generation I have here (I like to stock up) I am going to try my hand at making my own laundry detergent...that will save some money.
Today I will be bike riding and going to garden store to buy some flower pots. Then I am going to do some Easter dinner planning (no ham Amanda is vegetarian)....which by the way I haven't had with Amanda since she started college. I also will be seeing Hunger Games again!!!! Yeah!!! Then I will relax again....yeah!!!

Hello everyone! Not much going on here in my world. I have been invited to my daughter Amanda's house for dinner tomorrow. She is making pasta, I did request a salad, as I can not eat pasta, it gets stuck every time. It will be nice to see the kids all dressed up! My DH will not make it home so, I really do not care if I have a big fancy dinner.I would have been happy having a can of soup! Well hope you all are enjoying the sunshine!

Well, my morning started out with me over sleeping. I needed to be on the road by 6:45, to get to Kane Center by 9. Thank goodness Hubert called me at 6:20, to make sure I was up. I did set the alarm, but mine is one of the smart ones, and I had set it for weekdays only, and this being a Saturday............
Anyway, one more thing crossed off the list for getting a revision.
I also picked up some pots and saucers today. Now I have 4 that match. No plants until we get back from our cruise.
I will join you all in wanting it to be summer. Trying to dress for the weather is crazy.
Karen, its so nice seeing you again.
For my birthday, which is Wed., Hubert is giving me WiFi time on the cruise. I can go for that.
