It is April Fools Day, and it looks like Mother Nature is getting the first laugh. The sky is gray and rainy.
I had a great time yesterday. Monica and I went over to Peoria to shop, and do lunch. I had Fafala(an Isreali street food made with chickpeas) and Hummus. It was good. I also found a new outfit, some jewelry, makeup and basamic vinagar and oil,
So, I am done shopping for the cruise in 3 weeks.
Today, Hubert surprised me ans took off. Not sure what we will be doing.
Crystal, enjoy your company.
Nancy, I know you had a great time at the Shelter Event last night.
Christine, I love suare foot gardening to.
Dawn, still take it easy.
I need to get a few things done this morning.
Life is Good.
Hugs,
LISA
Yesterday ended up with me getting all of the square foot boxes all cleaned up. I have the box ready for the peas to go into and the support for them to climb up all done also. I found more onions that did not freeze over the winter and my parsley never froze out either. That is amazing. It was cold out there yesterday and it looks like it will not be too warm today either. Yesterday weather.com said that it was supposed to be 75 and now it is going to be only 65 at the highest. I guess we should not complain as it is far warmer than it is supposed to be.
When I decide to get my butt outside I will get to more clean up around the bushes in back and fluff up the mulch. I have a busy week coming up and do not have enough hours in the day/evening to get to it all.

Today it is Walmart time. It is sunny here today and fairly nice.
Lisa, I am glad you had a great day yesterday. Sounds like you got some nice things. Your cruise is coming up fast! That is exciting. Enjoy your day with Hubert.
Christine, dont work too hard today. It is amazing the things that survived the winter. It saves some planting too! Hope it warms up some for you.
Crystal, I hope you are having a good visit with your company.
Dawn, I am sure you are enjoying being more mobile. Dont forget to take time and prop that foot up each day.
Everyone have a great day!

I'm not sure what GOO means but I will go with it!!!!
I'm having a great time with the family. My breakfast casserole went over really well...I have to say it was really tasty. I found it on Pintrest...I love that site. I will post it later. We ate on my patio it was very relaxing and nice. Right now Amanda and her Aunt are in the kitchen and she is teaching Amanda how to make pastallios...this is something I actually really like. It's a Puerto Rican dish. It's very fattening.
The weather here is fabulous. It's sunny and 84 degrees.
I found out some sad and happy news. My one ex sister in law (the one I don't like very much). Was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer back in December!!!! Well she opted to have a mastectomy and with chemo she is now cancer free and is going in for reconstructive surgery!!! I am happy she has survived. I didn't find out till now because we aren't very close. But I would never wish anything bad to happen to her. In fact I almost cried when Brenda told me. I am so relieved that everything turned out good. She is so young...she is only 41!!!! She found a lump while getting ready one day and called her gyno. One thing is for sure...I'm calling for my mammo. No more putting it off. The only thing worrisome is I told Amanda that there is now a history of breast cancer in the family and she needs to remember that when she gets older. Her risk factor has now gone up.
Well I better get going...see what damage they are doing to my kitchen. that kitchen hasn't seen so much cooking before....hahahaha. Have a wonderful Sunday. Bye.
