WLS Therapist in W/SW Burbs??
Hello All,
I am having WLS on 04/16 and know I am going to need therapy to deal with my issues. I live in the SW burbs and would even travel to the west burbs since I am right off 355. Does anyone have a recommendation? I prefer a woman and someone who has had WLS. Am I expecting too much? Thanks for your help. Sharon

Hi Sharon,
Who did you go to for your phych review when you were trying to get approval? That person knows you, and is probaly the best one. I used Dr. Adam Crane at the Kane Center in Hoffman Estates.
Please join us in our daily roll calls. Most of us are now friends, being we all have had some kind of WLS, and we really care about each other. Please come in and tell us about yourself.
Good Luck, and we will be welcoming you to the losers bench.

I plan on going to the therapist who has helped me through every ordeal in my life.... however I went to Dr.Craig Laasch for my psych for our office and his practice has therapists too. You may want to call them and see if any fit your needs or if they can reccommend someone. I went to his Morris office but I think he has a Joliet office too.
