 Good Morning,
Were is our spring weather. I am tired of this cold weather funny thing is I think we only have winter
and summer it seems like no fall or spring weather. So how is everyone doing?
I am planning a trip to new york city in june or  july to visit family. I hope eveyone has a nice day.

Good Morning.

I had my excitment for the week yesterday. A small car accident that resulted in a $120.00 ticket, a cracked grill on the front, some scrapes, and a furture court date. Not happy. I was peeved about it, but like Hubert said when I got home, "its only  a car".

Work is slow again. Shut offs will be coming in starting next week, so we should pick up a bit.

Like is good.

Hello everyone

Friday Eve!!!!  Thank God!!!  

Amanda is borrowing my car today.  She has one of her classes to teach. 

Amanda was telling me all of the medical clearances she has to go through.  My goodness.  And the bad thing is, it's all paid for by them.  I thought for some reason the Peace Corp paid for it...NOPE!!!  They of course have to get a general check up but they have to get blood tests, gyno, pych, dental, and anyway Amanda has crap insurance that has a really high deductible...so a lot of this will be out of pocket till they reach their deductible!!!  The bad thing is if for some reason they are rejected all that money was spent for no reason.

This weekend I will have company.  Family will be visiting and spending the weekend here!!!!  I'm excited.  I will be trying a breakfast casserole I found on pintrest.  

I think we have been extremely lucky this year as far as weather goes.  We have had such wonderful weather.

I rented a storage unit yesterday and have begun moving all of the things in the home that we really just lug around with us from place to place.  In my mind we could just chunk them but most are things our Mom's gave us or things that at some point our kids might want so we end up lugging them around.

Quilts, throws, blankets made of yarn, baby blankets, childrens books...

The sun is out but it is cooler today!  But it is almost the weekend so I will take it!  No special plans today other than work. 

Steven, I have never been to the big apple.  I have always wanted to go.  Have a great time when you visit!

Lisa, I am so sorry about your accident,  I hope you were not hurt.  Poor new car, I would be so upset.  And then to get a ticket on top of it!  GRRRR.  Hope it all works out.

Crystal, enjoy your company this weekend.  That sucks that the Peace Corps makes Amanda pay for all the medical screening.  That is expensive!  Yikes!  And to have to pay for both her and Charles!  The Peace Corps really does operate on a shoe string budget.  I know the pay is awful for the workers.

Randy, you are right.  Your kids may want your folk's things.  You can always tell them to come get it or you are getting rid of the things.  Give them so many days.  My mom did that to us.  It works! 

Dawn, your cast was HUGE!  You must feel like the new one is feather weight.  I love the color!  Much better than boring white!  Hope it is feeling better.

Good morning Steven and the rest of Illinois!

I am heading downstairs here in a bit to get some work done.  I am also going to try to make some coffee.  It is amazing how many steps are involved in everyday things that we take for granted.

The new cast if much lighter but I have been having more pain.  Probably from trying to do more stuff.  I am going to try to use the wheelchair today to work at the table.  Hopefully, I will be more efficient and can keep the leg elevated.

I am considering trying to drive Liv to her rehearsal tonight but we will see how things feel by then.  I suppose I should try it at some point........
