Quick hit and run.  Think I will get cleaned up and go to Coffee Connections then back here for a bit before going to volunteer in Harvest at Willow.

Hello everyone

Nothing going on here.

Yesterday I bought a new bird feeder....it looks like a lighthouse.  It's really cute.

I have been really spoiled by the nice weather because yesterday I hated the cold!!!!  And it wasn't even that cold...hahaha!!!

Well I have to get going...have a great day everyone....bye.

Your bird feeder sounds cute. I have one shaped out of heavy duty steel wire in the shape of a snowman. Black sunflower works great in mine. I also have a bird feeder that closes when a heavy bird or squirrel will get on the perch.

Good morning Randy and the rest of Illinois!

Today it the BIG DAY!  I get to go for an X-ray and new cast after Todd gets home from work.  I am very excited to get this heavy splint off.

BUT.......the BEST news is that yesterday, my boss called and suggested that I WORK FROM HOME for a while!!!!!!!  We have a huge data-entry project that can be done from here as well as from there so he offered to send home a lap-top and I can earn $$ while recuperating!  I wanted to ask him, "who are you and what did you do with my boss?" but I just said, "Thank you."  I am SO happy as working from home has ALWAYS been possible but he is such a control-freak and so sexist that he would not allow me to do it.  I do not know what caused him to change his mind, but I will NOT question.  Now, I can earn $$ for the bills and work at my own pace without the political BS that was causing so much stress.  YIPPEE!!!!!!

So, even though it is cold and dreary out, I am a happy camper today.

Everyone have a lovely day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Dawn, the reason he called and offered is because, with you being gone for awhile he now knows WHO DOES ALL THE WORK!!!!  And, I'm pretty sure that is true.  Good for you.  Enjoy.  I'm glad you are getting your BIG cast off and hopefully will be able to get around a little better.  Take care.

Good Morning Everyone!

I am trying to get on here before we get really busy.  It seems like I get on the computer later and later in the evening.

Rick ended up changing plans.  He is up in Barrington staying with his son.  His ex is in the hospital.  Not sure when she will be released.  I am sitting at home very lonely.  I am so used to being with him.

The cold has been a shock to the system.  Come back warm weather!

Dawn, I am so excited for you.  Great news on both the job front and the medical front!  Relax and take your time healing!

Crystal, have fun with your bird feeder.  Be sure to place it where Jasper can watch the birds.  He will love it!

Randy and Lisa, Have a great day!

Hi Randy, and IL,

Not much on this front.  I, too, am resenting this cold....even though we are still "above normal."!  We get spoiled really fast, don't we?

Busy at work and not much else happening.  Everyone have a great day!

Good day ladies and gents. Dawn good to see you and cool beans about working from home!. Nancy and Georgia good to see you both also. Nancy, sorry your plans got changed with Rick coming to see you. Lisa, so far so good on not getting any rain. If it rains overnight that is fine with me as we still need it. Randy, we all get our schedules messed up from time to time.

Well, my day was messed up with the fact that my 'puter at work got hit with a virus. Well, shame on our IT guy as he never made sure that there was protection on it. Norton was supposed to be on all of the 'puters in the village. I moved from various 'puters in the office during the day and really did not get much done. My Office needs to be reloaded and that will be tomorrow and that will be another learning curve as it will be Office 2010. I have 2007 at home and struggle with it sometimes.

We got about 1/4 of the mulch area and shrubs trimmed and cleaned out in the last two days. There is a lot to do when you own a home and the spring and fall are the worst. We have been tossing around a lot of thoughts about downsizing, me retiring and new things to possibly come in our lives.
