Monday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I had a nice relaxing Sunday. I did get outside and got most of the weeds picked. I need to get out there later this week and finish up. I also moved my treadmill out of my house. I don't use it anymore now that I joined the gym. And the kitty keeps playing on it I had to tape it up because I didn't want it to fall on him.
Today is the same old thing. Nothing special going on today. What going on with you guys today?
Well I better get going...Have a great day....bye!!!!

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
The trip to Wal-Mart on Friday was very taxing. They did not have an electric cart available and the only wheelchair did not have a leg support. My toes were very swollen and sore by the time it was all over with. The heavy splint not only slows me down but also is a bit restrictive so my toes turn an alarming shade of purple when the leg is down too long. She did a great job of driving and I enjoyed getting out.
I had a nice weekend. Saturday, I felt really good (almost normal!) and went out to lunch with Todd & Liv. I sat in the back seat to keep my foot up as much as possible so no swollen toes. Then Riley came over for the night and it is always nice to have her around.
Yesterday, I felt a bit run down and stayed in the recliner. I DID chop onions, carrots and celery for soup and a bolgonese sauce for later in the week.
Today, I plan on writing some thank you notes and finishing up the soup. Tomorrow is the BIG DAY when I get to go back to the doctor and get a regular cast! I am excited about that.
Of course that will mean returning to work, but I am planning on doing that "as tolerated" and am going to TRY to change my thinking about my work. I want to think it is "just a job" and not let the politics get to me. I have obviously been replaced as the "heir apparent" and I just need to pay my bills. If I get a new job, the stress of how the company is run and future considerations would not be my problem. SO.....I am going to try to think of things in that way. Go there, do my job and go home. Take time off (even unpaid) when needed and not worry. Wish me luck on that note.........
Everyone have a wonderful, if blustery, day!

Revision on 04/19/13
Good Afternoon,
I think I am slipping. I could swear I was on here this morning, but then it dawned on me, I wasn't on the puter this morning, since hubby was. Oh well, its one of those days.
Steven, my coffee maker did the same thing. Hubby went to make coffee, turned it on it it popped. Then water ran all over the countertop. A new one was installed within an hour. We must have that coffee!!!
Our work is very slow, please remind me this fall when we are working 10 hours days and can't keep up.
Dawn. You have the right idea about work. Do your job, go home and forget it.
Hugs,
LISA
