Sunday Roll Call
We had to take bankruptcy last year and we also have a federal tax lien due to the income we lost moving here and my limited ability to work with all of the issues caused by my weight and sleep issues. So the Presidential Towers turned us down. Maybe that is a good thing. We did go and apply because even with the bad reviews being that close to Cheryl's work sure would be nice. We went early and walked around to get a feel for folks coming and going and liked what we saw. I have a recommendation for a Realtor who I need to get up the gumption to call and see what we can do. We have always paid our rent and normal bills and now have our car paid off. We plan to sale it if we move in the loop. We are very used to international populations and silly young people.
Hello everyone
I am just sitting here relaxing. I already ran to the store and got my newspaper and did some laundry. So now time for relaxing. I plan to just get some cleaning done around the house. I need to get outside and pick some weeds. With the rain the weeds just popped out like crazy.
Yesterday was really nice. My movie was really good. They did the book justice. I want to go see it again!!! Then Amanda and I decided it was such a nice day that instead of going to the gym we went to her house and walked around her neighborhood and went to the park. We walked and walked. I'm sure Nancy knows the area...it's the Hessle Park area in Champaign. I think we were gone for around 2 hours.
Randy- Years ago after a car accident and not being able to work for almost a year I had to claim bankruptcy...I know the feeling of trying to rebuild afterwards. I was able to get into apartments that were privately owned, rather than corporate ran apartments.
Well I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday...I will see you all later. BYE!!!

Good Morning,
Nothing happening today. I picked up the bedroom this morning, and am on my way to our yard to try to get some more stuff pulled up in the are I want toredo.
I will put a roast in the crockpot before I go out.
Randy, we have never had a bankruptcy, bur am familiar with them. Crystral is right. Try to find something that is not ram by a corperation. Most landlords will ask about what happened and if you can show where your rent has always been paid, ect., ................
I wouldn't get rid of your car. You may want to go someplace that cta doesn't.
Crystal, it sounds like you have had a good weekend. Enjoy.
Life is good.
Hugs,
LISA

Somewhere along the way I need to be able to see the top of my kitchen island so that is staring me in the face right now. I already have dinner made, in the fridge and it just needs to be put into the oven later on.
Davey's hair has been cut, dinner put together, I am coffee'd out, dishes are done from the dinner prep, now onto the counter and then out to work on those screens and wash the windows on that side of the room.
I am with Randy about selling his car if they end up downtown because you really do not need a car in the city. He is correct about Zip Cars and there is another company called I-Go that have quick rentals. It is way too expensive to house a car down there. The building owners soak you for the priviledge to have a car parked in their garage for a residential building. Your car insurance is way high due to the zipcode of living in the Loop also. There is a guy that works for the village that does not have a car. He reverse commutes on Metra to work. He, his wife and baby walk or ride bikes everywhere they need to go. When they need to go somewhere they rent a car. He says there are close to 10 I-Go places close to where he lives.
My sister and her DH are at the tale end of their bankruptcy so I know of some of the issues that you and Cheryl are going through.
