Thursday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well I did it again...I stayed up tp late reading. Some stay up partying but I read. I finished the book so I know I will go to bed at a reasonable time today!!!!
Amanda is borrowing my car today. She borrows the car every Thursday now for six weeks. I think we are on week 3. She goes to local schools as a representative of the park district and teaches the kids about various things. i know she even brings animals to the schools. Like owls and lizzards. I try not to think of owls and lizzards in my car...ICK!!!!
Then after work is the same old stuff. What about your guys?
Nancy- I am so sorry about your problems. Why can't you use what you bought for your back? I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to use it, if it help you.

Another beautiful day, and I am stuck insidw the office :( I am going to the store after work today, so my weekend will go easier.
A good friend yesterday loss 2 grandchildren in a car/semi accident. 17 and 12. They were less then a mile from thier home. Not only this accident was senseless, but the same friend has loss 2 other grandsons to suicide. We do not know any other information at this time.
Nancy, they aren't a very good company to work far. What if you just brought in your own back cushion anyway.

I cant believe it but I have the ac on. After being hot at work all day (79) in the cube, and with my ac not working in my car, it feels good!
Crystal and Lisa, I cant use anything that I bought for my back including a temperapedic back support because it has not been "officially" approved. I threatened to buy my own chair yesterday but they told me I could not do that as they had to approve the furniture. GRRRRRRR.
Crystal, what was the book you were reading? It must have been good to stay up late several nites. Uhm, I hope Amanda has those critters in cages. Otherwise, I would be shuddering too.
Lisa, I read about that accident. So sad. How hard that must be for the family. It is always tragic when young people die.
Dawn, how is the ankle? I hope surgery was successfull and that you are getting plenty of pain meds.

Nancy- that's crazy...they have to approve what you bring in??? I don't think anyone would care what I brought in. At my last job a girl that sat by me sat on a exercise ball all day...she swore by it. She said it improved your posture.
I started reading my Hunger Games book last week because the movie comes out next week. I only wanted to read the first book....at least that's what I told myself. Well I ended up rereading all three books!!!! I stayed up till midnight or later all week. I love rereading my favorite books. It's like visiting an old friend. Believe it or not I read all the Twilight books 6 times!!!!
Oh and the animals are in cages...but still. I have had snakes, lizzards, turtles, owls...and who knows what els in my car!!!!

I agree it is crazy. I have been trying to get the chair to fit for over a year. According to the ADA that is ilegal not to provide me with a good fitting chair especially if I ask for one. I am sure my back is considered a disability and they cannot discriminate. They sure are dragging their heels. I have reported them. I am finally fed up.
